President Donald Trump offered a cryptic excuse Friday for missing his son Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding later this weekend, which comes amid bubbling international tensions.
Trump confirmed he will not be attending his son’s wedding to Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson, citing “circumstances pertaining to Government” without providing details.

Thanks to Don Jr., his dad had to throw away the Ambassador to Greece position to Jr.’s last fiancé. I’d skip the wedding and pass on the gift.
His schedule shows he will be golfing that day.
I think that Jr. is much more of an ideologue and more principled than pops.
He was a huge “drain the swamp” guy and a huge “make them pay” guy.
He was also a “no more Middle East regime change wars” guy.
I listen to his weekly podcast and he has done exactly ONE on the war in Iran.
My guess is that they aren’t on great terms right now.

Sounds about right. Besides it’s his second marriage, small, and in the Bahamas. Trump doesn’t need to be there and it would be circus if the bride and groom want an intimate ceremony. Too many resources deployed to protect POTUS for one day - by land, sea and air - for a small event.
But this part got me wondering... “He was previously in a relationship with U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle, the ex-wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom”. Sounds kinda gross that Junior is bed hopping with the political class, but maybe not so odd considering he has been involved deeply with the campaigns.
