President Donald Trump said Monday that he is calling off an attack on Iran planned for Tuesday because regional leaders had urged him to allow negotiations to continue and that a “very acceptable” deal for the U.S. was at hand.
Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social that the leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates asked him “to hold off on our planned Military attack of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was scheduled for tomorrow, in that serious negotiations are now taking place, and that, in their opinion, as Great Leaders and Allies, a Deal will be made, which will be very acceptable to the United States of America, as well as all Countries in the Middle East, and beyond. This Deal will include, importantly, NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS FOR IRAN!”
He added, “Based on my respect for the above mentioned Leaders, I have instructed Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, The Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Daniel Caine, and The United States Military, that we will NOT be doing the scheduled attack of Iran tomorrow, but have further instructed them to be prepared to go forward with a full, large scale assault of Iran, on a moment’s notice, in the event that an acceptable Deal is not reached.”
Trump said Sunday on Truth Social that Iran had “better get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them,” reviving his threats to annihilate the country with efforts stalling to end to the war the U.S. and Israel began nearly three months ago.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei appeared to respond to the threat Monday, saying that Tehran was not “intimidated” but emphasizing that the “process of talks and negotiations” remained “ongoing.”

An ultimatum without follow-through isn’t a threat—it’s theater. It signals weakness, not strength.
The problem is that you can’t issue an ultimatum only to extend it, modify it, or forget about it only to issue yet another ultimatum. Your ultimatum is only as good as upholding the consequences for abrogating the ultimatum.
Ultimatum:
a final demand or statement of terms, the rejection of which will result in retaliation or a breakdown in relations
I dare the low IQ naysayers to articulate a viable argument against Trump.
My oh my, what a world you live in😂!!
Good.
Note that Israel is not mentioned. Why do I have a feeling that the whole TACO thing is a Mossad psy-op at this point?
So you think Eisenhower was weak...
“to end to the war the U.S. and Israel began nearly three months ago.”

...to end to the war *Iran* began 47 years ago.

[They], like this thread’s poster, know we make a difference. That’s why [They’re] here trying to divide us and bring us down.
Yes, if I were the IRGC I would go ahead and have my open meetings. Nothing to see here now. Tell the folks that the US has been defeated. Move along. Move along. Heh heh. They fall for it everytime.
Every delay means the Iranian IRGC will fortify more against any attack yet to come, and depreciate the effectiveness of any attack. Compromise toward delay is part of the IRGC military planning.
“Trust Trump’s plan” is now officially an outdated notion. SMH
Fine dollars a gallon….
Why waste fuel and time practicing………just use real bombs, real targets, until the sand naggers are begging for forgiveness
If that was the case, what military action did Trump take against Iran during his first term as president? A single drone strike on Major General Qasem Soleimani and a threatened drone strike which, true to form, Trump called off 10 minutes before the deadline.
Even more telling is that Trump during his first term as president NEVER said that Iran was at war with the United States.

Filled up for $6.199 a gallon today. That price will look pretty good in a few months.
President Donald Trump said Monday that he is calling off an attack on Iran planned for Tuesday because regional leaders had urged him to allow negotiations to continue and that a “very acceptable” deal for the U.S. was at hand. Wednesday is hump day.
Would Truman have gone on social media every day.. we have a really big bomb. Nope, we’re now negotiating. The Japanese are serious this time. But we still have a really big bomb. We’re gonna drop it tomorrow. Wait, they sent us a chat reply and they want to talk some more. But they now know we have a really big bomb and Im not afraid to use it. Maybe next week unless they ask us to send another plane full of diplomats to talk more. I know, if I send out a picture if me walking with an alien, they’ll know I mean business. Who knows, maybe we have two really big bombs.
That would out some of the negotiation topics in bold, caps and large print!
It’s called gaming your opponent....
It’s called losing credibility!
“NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS FOR IRAN!”
Yet they’ll be able to keep their existing HEU AND what’s left of their enrichment infrastructure.
And they’ll promise not to build a nuke for 20years.
And they’ll get some level of formal control over Hormuz.
So yeah. That’s a Trump deal we get as the American people,
