New Vegas betting odds heavily favor former Biden Cabinet official Xavier Becerra in California’s crowded governor’s race — and it’s not even close.
Prediction market Polymarket currently gives Becerra a commanding 52% chance of winning the 2026 gubernatorial contest, far outpacing his nearest rival, billionaire Democrat Tom Steyer, who trails at around 32%.
The sharp divide underscores just how dramatically Becerra has surged from early uncertainty to become the race’s dominant frontrunner.

Surprising that, only recently, the top two in the polls were both Republicans. Now, they’re both Democrats.
There’s no hope for California.
look for a similar article to come out about Spencer Pratt, it’s similar to the hype about Beto O’Rourke in Texas, Democrats were ecstatic when he was showing strength in the polls until he was crushed in the election.
I tend to agree with you, there is no hope for California, not without major election reform to clean up the rampant fraud in the election system in California.
Until that happens, I would suggest an Atlas Shrugged strategy, simply crash the state led by the Tech billionaires, get all the power in Silicon Valley to move out of California, take their money and tax revenue to any other state besides California and totally collapse the system.
What, nothing in ole man of the people Tom’s bag of tricks. Heck make something up for crying out loud. Demz do it all the time!

The billionaire who hates billionaires is backed by the Bernie Sanders anti-billionaire political operation, Our Revolution, which is confusingly also funded by billionaires.
“We’ve never endorsed a billionaire — but Tom Steyer is using his position to upset the system,” Our Revolution argued. “Yes, Tom Steyer is a billionaire. But it matters what he is doing with that power: pushing for taxes on the wealthy, expanding universal programs, and dismantling corporate influence in our politics.”
This guy vs Xavier, the guy who made the House Democrats’ server disappear after the Pakistani Awan brothers were done with it.

I’m a little surprised we haven’t seen that already, except from Islamic Terrorists, ride around at different places in California with a trunk load of Molotov cocktails and throw them out, it would overwhelm California, look at the fires in Pacific Palisades which was confined to a relatively small area, multiple that by 5-10 times and it would be catastrophic

his and other Democrats’ tax-paid IT employee.
Becerra obediently made a tax-paid House Democratic server “disappear” after Awan was investigated for stealing US secrets possibly to resell.
The criminal element of Imran Awan, a former Muslim IT staffer employed by several House Democrats—including Becerra—was ultimately exposed and investigated for:
<><> a. bank fraud, and,
<><>b. improper access to tax-paid US House systems.
In July 2018, federal prosecutors concluded an 18-month investigation into Imran Awan, a “Pakistani operative,” protected by Becerra and House Democrats wrt stealing US government secrets.
Imran Awan pleaded guilty to making a false statement on a bank loan application, and improper access to tax-paid US House systems.
These allegations stemmed from broader theories about the Pakistani’s IT scandal.
Becerra, now a Cali gubernatorial candidate, obediently made a tax-paid House Democratic server “disappear” after the Awan was investigated for stealing US secrets possibly to resell.
California’s politics has them in a death spiral. The nitwits who live there will go down with the ship, voting Democrat and screaming about everyone else being Nazis all the way down.

It is a direct response to the huge number of Republicans voting early. It is an arrest to tamp down Republicans’ enthusiasm to vote.

Just like in CA, his actions represents the refusal of productive individuals to allow their work to be appropriated. They’re ‘over it’ and doing something about it.
It’s a good indicator of the ongoing withdrawal of the competent.
