The gunman accused of shooting eight young children dead in Shreveport, Louisiana on Sunday morning has been identified as Shamar Elkins.
Elkins, 31, opened fire at a home in Shreveport during a domestic disturbance, former Caddo Parish Constable Patrick Young told the Daily Mail.
The suspect, who was fatally shot by police during a vehicle chase, is accused of killing eight children, with the youngest being just 18 months old, the Shreveport Police Department said

31 years old and has 7 kids of his own? He must have had a really good job to afford that many kids. Stupid choices means we get to pay for raising them. The real sin is the lives he took in making those stupid choices.

We need to examine this from the Racial Angle. Just what kind of interactions did he have with Whites and was he ever slighted by a White person, you know, such as not hiring him for that Brain Surgery position, or not kicking a White couple of a restaurant, in order for him to not have to wait to eat? If we look hard enough, we’ll find something, and then we can run with that for the next 2 weeks.

I’m going to say something that goes against my normal principles, but I don’t think this was a “one of them” incident. This was just a psycho incident. Race could have gone either way on this one.
SSRIs? Antipsychotics? Bipolar meds? It’s always psych drugs.
From the reports it sounds like some of the victims were his own children. Some may have been the children of his girlfriend’s sister. Hard to imagine how someone could be so cruel to young children.
