Albuquerque police said they arrested one of the city’s top auto theft suspects this week.
APD officers arrested Gilbert Serrano after air support tracked him to El Modelo restaurant.
After Serrano picked up his food, officers pulled him over and put him in handcuffs.
Police named Serrano as one of the top 25 auto theft offenders on their list for April.

I was going to predict a Mexican. Theft seems to just be part of that culture. Warner Bros even created a Mexican mouse named Speedy Gonzalez who was known as the fastest cheese thief in the world.
It means Gilbert will need to steal more cars to cover his increased legal overhead.

I haven’t lived in New Mexico for 20 years, but I can still pick ‘em out.
Their menu actually looks pretty good. The location is probably why we never went there. The bars on the windows are a clue.

Remember the Mexican wrestler whose motto was “Lie, cheat steal”. Sorry all cultures are not created equal.
In researching my book, I learned the Cherokee settled in Texas...Mexican territory. Mexico gladly took their bribe and signed off the land. Hence the Indian Community of Mt. TABOR in current Rusk County. The Mexicans refused to settle the area because it was too hard!
After it was settled and prosperous, they showed up often enough to steal anything they could. The Cherokee even covered for the Texas Republic from invading Mexican thieves.
Now they want California etc....After all the work is done...
I say when they take it, leave it like the Confederate Cherokee left towns in the Civil War...burn it to the ground. Salt the wells.
Leave it as worthless as you found it. They should have done that before the trail of tears.
