The grieving parents of a 26-year-old man are speaking out against Canada’s medical assistance in dying (MAID) laws, arguing the system failed to protect their “vulnerable” son from being euthanized, despite a history of mental illness.
Kiano Vafaeian was euthanized on Dec. 30, 2025, in British Columbia. His family says he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age four and began struggling with mental health after a car accident at 17.
His mother, Margaret Marsilla of Ontario, said his depression was often seasonal, yet he became “obsessed” with MAID after losing vision in one eye in 2022.

Well, now the Canadian health system won’t have to pay for his continued care but taxes will remain the same, so there will be more money for government employees to get even more lavish benefits and more for politicians to skim off the top.
Leadership in Canofdog, all of them, should be stood in front of a wall of sandbags and offered a blindfold and cigarette.

This is absolutely sick. The young man did not meet the criteria so the "doctor" coached him on what to say and how to cause deterioration in his condition so that he would qualify. This is suicide for convenience, not imminent loss of life as the advocates originally swore it would be limited to.
He was killed. Slain. Sacrificed on the Altar of Convenience.
Canada is too far down the socialist rabbit hole.
Millions will die before they turn the corner.
We will have a Muslim caliphate on our boarder before long and the Chinese will control their ports.
Once Trump controls Iceland he needs to work on Canada.

She’s a mass murderer who brags about the hundreds she’s sent to their deaths.
