While some dubious policies linger from the Biden administration years, even some Trump administration policy steps in the Middle East — Gaza, Iran, and Syria especially — raise questions about this administration’s and its envoys’ understanding of realities of Islam, jihad, and sharia. ...
So far, so good for the Trump administration, but then:

“The Trump Administration’s Delusional Gaza ‘Master Plan’” by Khaled Abu Toameh at the Gatestone Institute, February 3, 2026
At the recent annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, Jared Kushner presented a “New Gaza” master plan that skips straight away to a post-war vision, without ever explaining how luxury skyscrapers, a port, an airport, and more will get HAMAS to disarm and give up control in Gaza.
“Who’s Going to Pay $30 Billion to ‘Build’ 180 Skyscrapers in Gaza?” by Daniel Greenfield at Jihad Watch, February 1, 2026
Even aside from questions about HAMAS’ continuing rule over large parts of Gaza is the question of who’s going to be willing to sink billions of dollars into reconstruction there.
“Is Trump Being Bamboozled?: Islamic State Terrorists Threaten Comeback Thanks to His Support for Syria’s Islamist Leader” by Con Coughlin at the Gatestone Institute, February 1, 2026
Trump support for Syria’s jihadi ruler, Ahmed al-Sharaa, seems to forget all about his terrorist past, linked to both al-Qa’eda and the Islamic State. The ongoing slaughter of Syrian minorities — Alawites, Christians, Druze, Kurds — and the abandonment of U.S. former allies among the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) — should be raising serious concerns about that policy — but are they?

The business in Syria seems to be raising even more concerns, e.g., Turkish alliance to take out the Kurds - our former allies.
Of course we are all waiting to see what will happen in Iran.
The Democrats’ “Islam policy” of laundering billions of dollars through Moslem invaders was so much more coherent.
Trump’s Islam policy is the main reason I voted for him. I was hoping that he would stop the Muzzie from bringing their “middle eastern” bovine scatology here to our home. America wasn’t designed for those primitive savages.
An excellent point. In sailboat racing, "maneuvering relative to another vessel" well is what helps win races. President Trump is "maneuvering" in a world with many Muslim nations, as one sees in the UN bloc. Sometimes to be "coherent" in the long run requires a bit of incoherence in the short term.
The "trumpgangster.jpg" on the Gates of Vienna page is itself an editorial by Clare Lopez. The editor for the page writes: "Editor's Note — There are a lot of cross-currents and personalities, but no true North Star in Trump Islam's policy. Not good."
Yup. There are "lot of cross-currents and personalities" in the Trump-Vance administration and that's fine, because there are "lot of cross-currents and personalities" in the whole Muslim world. Keep 'em guessing.
You guys have to move five steps ahead of where you are now. That’s when you’ll be where Trump is.
Of course, you still won’t be able to predict what Trump will do. Remember what he told you?
Correctomundo!
No one knows, prob even Trump, what he’s going to do. The moment arrives and he strikes!
Trump’s strategy seems to be to offer Hamas a plan for Gaza peace and prosperity that will fatally discredit them in the Muslim and Arab worlds when they refuse. After such a refusal, Trump and the US will wash their hands of any further responsibility for Gaza as long as Hamas is in power there.
NYC was hit by Muzzies...we elected a Muzzie President and now we have a Muzzie Mayor. As long as we have stupid voters...we will have these monsters whose aim is total submission.

Thanks for posting...I have grandchildren in their early 30s....this means nothing to them because they know nothing of the 50s, 60s, 70s...the best years...

I saw this on the Gates Of Vienna News feed. I figured it would be nice to add it to this thread.
Trumps biggest flaw may be he lives for the deal even when a deal should not be had.

Those that continue to believe that Islam is just like any other belief system are fools and are on the road to being conquered. Trump ought to take seriously the lesson from his favorite poem “The Snake.”
“Is Trump Being Bamboozled?
Yes and loving every minute. Even now, Iran famous for reneging on deals, is being offered things like aircraft factories and the like, all of which will make Iran and the Mad Mullahs even stronger when they disavow the deal.
“Trump support for Syria’s jihadi ruler ... and the abandonment of U.S. former allies among the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) - should be raising serious concerns about that policy - but are they?”
Abandoning allies seems to be a policy with 47. Cozying up to dictators also seems to go hand-in-glove with the Bamboozling Factor. Usually who has the most and best land to be developed gets the nod.

How’s that working out for you? Islam is growing by leaps and bounds in the US under 47
Drivelous BS by one who has typically deserted the only hope of conservatives to ever prevail
Bingo!
Add to the "stupid voters" normal people who are too busy with their personal lives to pay attention and are easily persuaded, together with timid politicians who are only concerned with staying in office.
Trump is great at the national and global strategic level, but we also need supportive local and state politicians and officials who are unafraid of calling a spade a spade.
News unlocks map.
huh?
