Representative Lauren Boebert has joined several lawmakers in expressing outrage over what she was able to view in unredacted versions of the Department of Justice’s documents on the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“Terrifying language in the Epstein Files I viewed yesterday,” the Colorado Republican posted to X on Wednesday. “Emails about torture. Frequent talk of ‘consumption’? A restaurant called ‘The Cannibal.’”

Cannibals poo poo somebodies.
From what I’m hearing (and just read in that article) the cannibalism concerns are growing, not being poo-pooed.
These documents and e-mails are being fictionalized for our enjoyment and shock value.
Much in the same way of the Comet Pizza reports from years ago.
However, I’ll admit to being wrong if/when the first arrest is ever made in connection to these stories.
I have always said, there are bodies to be found. Well, will probably never be found, but... no way would people like this be content with just banging hookers and models.
You asked to see it all, aren’t you glad they redacted the worst parts?
I don’t consider Boebert bright enough to understand what she may have read...
Cannibalism? Sure, why not? It'll draw attention. Granted, nothing surprises me any more, but nevertheless, color me skeptical.
I'll wait patiently for some bones with teeth marks to appear, followed by some arrests. Otherwise, meh.
The old saying “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire” may apply here. This, the Epstein Files story, has been hanging on for years. One of the possible reasons for that, and for his jail cell death, may be the record of demonic, horrifying conduct by himself and his associates. Whatever is in “the files” has been known by a certain set of people for a very long time. That there is evidence of torture, murder, and cannibalism would explain a alot. May it be that there is no truth to it; God save us if there is.
I’ve recently heard the theory that murder charges may be what’s perpetuating any possible cover up, as they have no statute of limitations, unlike the rape charges, which could be beyond prosecution in certain states. It’s all very sordid, to say the least, and there are e-mails clearly using code words, such as “we’re not sure only one piece of pizza will be enough for us” or “I don’t like my jerky when it’s frozen” and the like.
“Spirit Cooking Parties” are very real, and a Beltway must attend invite.
Everyone is going to be assigned an “Epstein Number” to indicate how many degrees of separation they are from a person who was ever on Epstein Island.
Agreed.
I think it’s been ‘hanging on for years’ for sheer political purposes.
I think it's because the Epstein situation represents much more than just the supposed horrific crimes that were committed. It's also a possible peek into two other things that people are intently interested in - secret societies and how they exert control over each other, and, the preferential treatment that they are given when caught.
So, people are angry not only over the crimes, themselves, but, how the elite are being protected by a two-tied justice system.
See post #17.
I believe that Trump wanted to avoid further focus on Epstein, not because he was involved (in fact, it seems clear he disliked Epstein) but rather because
1) these documents are full of hearsay. Anything with Epstein’s name on them were collected. Any accusation, no matter how wild or fictitious, could be in them.
2) with these documents in the hands of “the deep state” for up to 20 years, there is a lot of potential for insiders to have added to, taken away from, or otherwise manipulated the documents.
Do we now believe that Epstein was running a cannibal ring?
