PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A federal judge has ordered a temporary restraining order restricting the ability of federal agents at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in Portland from using tear gas and other chemical munitions at people unless there is an imminent threat of physical harm, according to court documents filed on Tuesday afternoon.
“In a well-functioning constitutional democratic republic, free speech, courageous newsgathering, and nonviolent protest are all permitted, respected, and even celebrated. In an authoritarian regime, that is not the case. Our nation is now at a crossroads,” U.S. District Judge Michael H. Simon wrote.
Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden weighed in on the decision on Facebook, calling it in part, “a win for Oregonians who care about common sense and common decency. in his opinion granting the restraining order.
“The judge put it well when he stressed how the First Amendment sets America apart from totalitarian regimes and that this administration’s default reaction to opposition is violence against peaceful protesters and observers in Portland and far too many [sic] other cities.”

If all these people were doing was holding signs and that sort of thing, tear gas would be over the top, but we all know they are getting in the face an intimidating officers. My guess is the aggressive protesters cause the mayhem forcing the tear-gassing. Then, the ones hanging back and not ‘causing any problems’ scream about how all they were doing is standing there and then they got gassed. The judge then steps in and sides with the idiot agitators. Nce!
If you can’t use tear gas, just shoot them. They are not “peaceful protestors”.
OK. If they are trespassing, just shoot them? Is that what this clown wants?
I missed the part where the judge issued a restraining order against the rioters for violating federal laws. Maybe I need to read it again

I wonder if there might be hot water sources to use as well as hydrants and fire tankers...
These are not “protests.” They are VIOLENT RIOTS.

He isn’t a judge, he is a saboteur.
Send ICE agents to his neighborhood to park and have lunch. Chase the new protestors towards his house and just leave.
