"I am outraged to hear a New York City Council employee was detained in Nassau County by federal immigration officials at a routine immigration appointment," Mamdani fumed. "This is an assault on our democracy, on our city, and our values. I am calling for his immediate release and will continue to monitor the situation."

“This is an assault on our democracy,”
You betcha! Your lefty “our democracy” is on the way out.
Those who gave him access to the data need to be in prison.
One could make the argument that the minimum prison sentence for the illegal alien invader needs to be as long as the data could be used against someone. If it's personal data, it might be a lifetime.
‘ Those who gave him access to the data need to be in prison’
For a very long time.
Just another job denied to the US citizenry of New York.
Now ask yourself why would you want to deny actual citizens such jobs? Might it be because citizen would want to actual follow the law and be a good civil minded person, whereas a criminal alien will be happy to abuse the power and play ball with corrupt higher ups?
Just a thought.
The male AOC.
And the lefties objected to DOGE having access to personal records.
All in all, it is truly amazing that a rag-tag bunch of degenerates can coalesce and square off, successfully, apparently, with the might and power of the Federal government.
As a white, native American citizen, I would land in jail instantly if I did one tenth of one percent what they do.
Pay them less.
Oooh
...detained...
Sounds series.
Detained? So they held onto to this person to check their status. Big whoop. Its routine.
Better watch it Mr Mayor you could be next
Monitor will he? He can’t monitor the millions he got from his parents. Monitor. LOL
yep, every time Mandani rages impotently, it warms the cockles of my heart!
I am calling for his immediate release and will continue to monitor the situation.”
Will that monitoring make any changes? I think ‘taking action’ would be a better outcome.
It’s an assault on mandamis version of democracy
I am struggling to understand in his view, what this has to do with democracy. This was some employee, not an elected official, who can be replaced by a qualified US citizen without a vote.
What do these immigrants add to America?
