INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) - Prosecutors charged a 20-year-old man with killing a Kansas City woman while driving drunk in Independence.
Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Tuesday, Dec. 30, revealed that Mason R. McIntyre faces one count of DWI causing death and two counts of second-degree assault.
Court documents show that McIntyre’s blood alcohol level was more than double the legal limit.
The charges stem from a Saturday night crash that killed 36-year-old Jennifer Jensen and critically injured 2 others.

I absolutely hate these stories. My 19 year old cousin was killed by a drunk driver - broadsided. I visit his grave at least once a year.
There is NO excuse for drinking and driving. None.
Hope he is charged with first-degree murder.
White Male. No no bail release. Won’t be tried as a juvenile. No plea bargain down to misdemeanor driving without a license. No slack in the courts. Any slack he gets will be in his nether regions from other inmates, a stretch in prison you might say...
Aren’t you always passing cars in the oncoming lane, and they passing you, regardless of your speed?
By liberal logic, if they reduced the legal age to 20, this would not have happened.
