Arrests = 0, correct?

In the past, when large scale criminality was supposedly abundantly obvious, they started arresting people pretty quickly, to gather ripe evidence, and put pressure on the arrested to quickly flip and provide more evidence, etc.

Now, it appears to be, go have some media talking heads tell us how horrible it all is/was, but then never actually do anything about it, ever, except stir the pot.

Logic would tend to indicate, at least to me, that either the charges are all phony, or, they don’t really want to arrest anyone, anymore. Maybe because they are in on it themselves in some manner, or more likely use it for blackmail for hidden profit, etc. Bottom line it doesn’t reflect well on those that are continually letting things slide, when it’s all supposedly so horrible.
