To protect and defend this Constitution. Right now, the threats to our Constitution aren't just coming from abroad. But from right here at home.
Our laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders. You can refuse illegal orders.
You must refuse illegal orders. No one has to carry out orders that violate the law or our Constitution. We know this is hard.
And that it's a difficult time to be a public servant. But whether you're serving in the CIA. The Army.
Our Navy. The Air Force. Your vigilance is critical.
And know that we have your back. Because now, more than ever. The American people need you.

A US senator telling the military to disobey orders should at least be grounds for removal from congress.
Telling the military to disobey presidential orders could be considered treason if it is seen as levying war against the United States or providing aid to its enemies, as treason is defined in the U.S. Constitution.
A US senator can be removed from office through a process called expulsion, which requires a two-thirds vote from the Senate.
The perpetrators can’t vote in the expulsion.

My only criticism of Miller’s statement is the use of the word “now.”
I think many previous examples of Democrats calling for insurrection could be found and not just in the recent past.
Declaring and defending “Sanctuary” policies are one example IMO. They are inherently a defiance of the Federal government.
I wish Republicans had the balls to do that. I think this is pretty serious.

Yes, was thinking the same thing. These creeps call for insubordination... but they hide behind weasel words of “illegal orders”... which sort of gets them off the hook as truly illegal orders are indeed unenforceable. BUT they don’t give one single damned example of what they’re talking about. How is their intended audience supposed to do what they’re telling them to do when they don’t in any way define what they’re hinting at?
