Let me be brutally honest here: I hate it when someone makes exactly the same point I’ve been saying for years, except that the other person says it so much better than I did that everyone finally sits up and takes notice. In this case, the point I’ve been making is that the feminization of our institutions is destroying them, and that leftist women are driving the insanity of American politics. I started making the first point more than a decade ago at my blog; I’ve been making the second point relentlessly at American Thinker since 2020.

However, I wasn’t making headway with my point, so I may as well not have made it at all. Now, though, Helen Andrews has written an absolutely splendid essay at Compact entitled “The Great Feminization,” and she powerfully makes the same argument I’ve been muddling about with for so long. No wonder her essay is gaining traction.
Actually, as she concedes, even Andrews isn’t the first to make the point. Instead, she opens her essay by pointing to something the pseudonymous “J. Stone” wrote in 2019 when Larry Summers was driven from Harvard. In that essay, the author argued that “woke” culture is actually hyperfeminine culture. Andrews sums up the point of J. Stone’s essay this way:
The essay argued that it wasn’t just that women had cancelled the president of Harvard; it was that they’d cancelled him in a very feminine way. They made emotional appeals rather than logical arguments.
[snip]
This cancellation was feminine, the essay argued, because all cancellations are feminine. Cancel culture is simply what women do whenever there are enough of them in a given organization or field.
The reminded me of my daughter, back in 2019, while still a student at one of...

“ leftist women are driving the insanity of American politics”
I don’t think they’re driving it but they are mainstreaming it and normalizing it.
Well, democrat “men” are beyond hyper-feminized in the most derogatory sense possible.
I just learned the acronym AWFULs here on FR yesterday.
Affluent, White, Female, Ultra, Leftists
Men and Women, I believe, each contributed something different to Humanity.
At some point, we will realize the price of Title IX.
One thing I noticed is that the number of women I dealt with was far higher than the number of men. The nurses, nurses aides, nurse's assistants, etc., were of course almost all women.
But also the majority of surgeons who worked on me were women. And the administrative staff was — as far as I could see — entirely female.
The idea that women are subject to employment discrimination is absolute poppycock.
Well, I expect Andrea will soon be hearing from some of the biggest Pussies in America.
Hyper-feminization is biologically contradictory and will have no lasting effect.
Only the intellectually and morally handicapped and the mentally ill will be significantly influenced by it, regardless of the efforts of the mentally ill, the unwise, and the downright stupid.
I thought it was: Affluent, White, Female, Unhinged, Leftists!
Quote: “When he started talking about innate differences in aptitude between men and women, I just couldn’t breathe because this kind of bias makes me physically ill,” said Nancy Hopkins, a biologist at MIT.
This was an MIT biologist reacting to scienctific facts - all about her emotions, not the facts.
It reminds me of so many female leaders nowadays, especially the latest Supreme court Justice Brown. Just like listening to Oprah or Michelle Obama or AOC.
I wonder how the AWFULs will interact with Muslim men.
Dang it! When it comes to missing threads, I take the cake. I'm sure many read it, so here's a belated TY.
FemaNazi is what Rush called them.

‘AWFUL’ works pretty well Too.

Backseat driving. Kamala does her best work in the back seat.
Many did read the Helen Andrews article I posted. Right now there are 108 comments.
Read both. Made fantastic points. Woke and cancel culture really are feminine. If we want this to change, something has got to change, or it’s going to get worse.
Women are the vast majority of teachers and students from Pre-K - all levels of college these days. They will be coming more and more into professions and work environments. Either their will be done, or we show them that the world is a hard-knock place, and it takes men to set things right.
It’s going to be hard, going forward.
Well, that's why they deployed reinforcements like micro-plastics and COVID vaccines...
Commentary on X centers around the idea that this essay only appeared and is gaining attention now that this hyper-feminization seems to be finally having a negative backlash effect on women. Problem is, it's too late - the damage is now done.
