THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK
Sowing a thought reaps an act. Sowing an act reaps a habit. Sowing a habit reaps a character. Sowing a character reaps a destiny. The battle for the soul and the very essence of life goes on in our thought life. We are what we think (Proverbs 23:7). What we think, therefore, needs protection and can be controlled. II Corinthians 10:5 tells us to bring every thought into captivity. Good thoughts will produce good habits. For believers there are four keys in helping to develop good habits:
1. Follow God's Word daily, because it is the only infallible guide. 2. Pray, because prayer bears fruit (John 15:8). 3. Have a proper view of possessions and wealth, because most of our sins are related to greed and pride. 4. Love each other, because love is a daily choice that will revive you from within your person. It all starts with thoughts. Remember, sowing your thoughts reaps acting. Sowing action reaps habits. Sowing habits reaps your character. And sowing your character reaps YOUR destiny! |

Good evening, radu...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Any more mowing?
Chilly here and several internet blips in the last couple hours....just enough to shut everything down. Annoying.

Dear God: I ask that no Airman, Coast Guardsman, Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Reservist, National Guardsman, or Merchant Marine feel alone or forgotten.
O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is loving kindness, And with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

Howdy, Kathy.
No mowing just yet. The yards are shaggy but not too bad. The grass doesn’t grow all that fast this time of year.
It LOOKS chilly there and the wind can’t help matters. Pretty blustery out by the airports. I thought it was going to be a soggy day because there was a large batch of rain moving up when I went to bed this morning. But it fell completely apart. You still got got stuck with a gloomy day instead of a gorgeous day like yesterday. boohiss!

Extra prayers for Israel...

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.

G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Howdy, luvie.
Did you get a good, long nap this afternoon?
I hope your D-I-L made it to Tuscon safe and sound.

Hey there, radu!
I did get a nap. And I can nearly guarantee that I’m going to sleep fairly early tonight. I can’t seem to get my energy back up to “normal”.
I am assuming that she got there ok. We haven’t heard, but I am quite sure she is with her mom at the hospital...and trying to deal with this new reality.
Hope your day went well. Was it today that the memorial was being held. I totally can’t remember. I was so tired last night. Anyway, if it was, how did it go? Was the weather pretty? It was here if a bit breezy early on.

Maybe it has to do with the positions of the moon and stars. I got enough sleep but woke up feeling like I’d slept an hour. Got nothing done that I’d intended to do today.
I didn’t know if she’d planned to make a quick call to let you know she’d arrived safely. She probably went straight to the hospital to see her mom.
The Charlie Kirk event isn’t until Tuesday - - his birthday.
Not a real pretty day here. Had a lot of clouds again with some sunshine here and there. Comfy, at least, in the low 70s.

This hymn, inspired by the Shepherd's Psalm (Ps. 23), has been almost completely forgotten, yet it is beautiful and inspiring.
