The Massachusetts Teachers Association is calling on school districts not to punish educators who have reacted positively to Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

MTA President Max Page and Vice President Deb McCarthy are urging districts and public colleges and universities to be “partners with unions in the fight to defend educators from bullying and harassment and to protect their rights."

I’m guessing the Massachusetts Teachers Association is essentially a communist organization.

Yes, it is. And they shouldn’t get bullied or called out for wanting to murder people they disagree with, or for kiddi porn on their laptop, or for sleeping with their students, etc, etc.

A school shooting. Someone used a gun in a gun-free zone. A young father with two little children gunned down in cold blood.

MA teachers cheer.
MA Teachers Union says it’s OK to cheer.

About 30 years ago, my wife and I had dinner with my new boss and his wife, and they had moved to Massachusetts from some other part of the country.

She was a school teacher, and had to join the MTA.

She baldly stated they were statist totalitarians, and even called them Nazis because of the way they dealt with their members. You can see she she didn’t like them at all.

I don’t know what Teacher’s Unions are like in other parts of the country, but my exposure to these people (in town meetings) convinces me that they are a breed apart.

Thus proving academia is a hot bed and refuge of sociopaths.

Time to abolish the public education system

Abolish property tax funding of public schools

Homeshool with parents choice of online curriculum and education , with federal issue of laptops.

Or private school for those that can afford that if they so choose.

The amount of federal, state, county and city money would be in the billions if not trillions.

She’s right. I’m a retired public school teacher (not in Massachusetts). My union was just the way she described hers.

A key feature is how undemocratic (small d) these unions are. For one thing, I was never allowed to vote for my state or national officers. These officials are all chosen at shadowy conventions by hand-picked delegates.

Kinda like how Stalin used to do things.

Silly me, the headline led me to believe the MTA was calling for ITS MEMBERS to take no action in reacting to Charlie Kirk’s death. I should have known better.

It is the state that removes the licenses, not the teacher’s associations.

The Massachusetts Teachers Association is calling on school districts not to punish educators who have reacted positively to Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

The very fact that they are doing this is an admission of the flawed characters of their union members. They harm themselves even further than they have already harmed themselves by actions such as this. This union has no moral compass and no guidance.

They sound more like a murderous organization if they cheer murder.

Our first public education law is from this state. The “Old Deluder Satan Law,” formally enacted in 1647 by the Massachusetts General Court, was a legislative act aimed at ensuring that children could read the Bible and thereby prevent “ye old deluder, Satan” from keeping men from the knowledge of the Scriptures
