This is a 30 minute long interview of Wesley Yang in which the interviewer lets Yang do most of the talking. He argues that the term "woke" makes it sound to most people like it is something insubstantial and on the fringe when, in fact, it is the guiding philosophy of all our institutions. He describes it, instead, as a "successor ideology" that has taken over the culture and will only be replaced from the bottom up.

In the first half he speaks about the trans ideology. In the second half he speaks about race, affirmative action and mass immigration. He points out how and why mass immigration spelled the death knell for affirmative action.

Just cut off massive government spending and debt, at all levels of government, which keep the neo-marxist parasites alive. Without money, these spineless creatures won't make war, they will simply die, like exposing a nest of fly larvae to sunlight.

Sadly, our nation's economy is built on debt, and getting rid of printed, fiat, Federal Reserve money would cause one hell of a depressionary collapse. The nation would recover soon enough afterwards, but no politician will ever choose to go through that.

The problem with the civil war theory is that it requires men. Men who are willing to stand up for what they believe. There are no men on left. They drove them all out. So there will be no civil war.

The left was always going to be crushed because they don’t have any men. In Europe however, its a different. There will a civil war. The war will be be with the moslems who do have men. It will not be the left that wars with them. The left will be defeated by the right. And then there will be a civil war between the right and the moslems.

This odd, and rather disturbing, jump by some to threaten physical extermination for political purposes is more disheartening.

The only result would be creating martyrs and further destructive backlashes.

Most of these people live off the thready sinecures of diverted/stolen taxpayer funding. Like any living thing - cut off its (illicit) sustenance and it will dry up and go away.

I think you're right that democracy, if by that he means winning elections, will not be sufficient. If the problem was just with government that might work.

However, as he points out, the problem is embedded across the elite of all cultural institutions - business, education, medicine, armed forces, churches, community organizations.

Until his characterization of the situation as a civilizational issue is understood by a significant percentage of people there will be no support for drastic action.
