Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff Pleads the 5th on Alleged Cover-Up of Joe Biden’s Cognitive Decline

Anthony Bernal, who served as the chief of staff for former first lady Jill Biden, refused to answer questions regarding an alleged cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.

Bernal, who has been nicknamed Jill Biden’s “work husband,” pleaded the Fifth during a “closed-door testimony” in front of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, according to the Hill.

Per the outlet, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) revealed that Bernal had “pleaded the Fifth” when asked whether the former president had “ever instructed him to lie about his health” or if “any unelected official or family members executed the duties of the president.”

“Anthony Bernal — Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff — just invoked the Fifth Amendment during his congressional deposition,” Comer wrote in a post on X. “This week new reporting confirms President Biden’s aides took unauthorized executive actions during his presidency amid his cognitive decline.”

Comer added that it was “no surprise” that Bernal had invoked the Fifth Amendment “to shield himself from criminal liability.”

“During his deposition today, Mr. Bernal pleaded the Fifth when asked if any unelected official or family members executed the duties of the President and if Joe Biden ever instructed him to lie about his health,”

“When I hear of people pleading the fifth it screams ‘guilty’.”

Are you sure about that?

How is it that a direct advisor to President Trump doesn’t have Executive Privilege and an AG like Eric Holder does on a matter that had no direct known connection to President 0bama?

Couldn’t the committee vote to immunize these witnesses on the spot, to obviate the 5A issue and elicit testimony? Perhaps that is an entire House vote.

I disagree.

Jill was a walking fashion dumpster fire. Every outfit was a train wreck.

And yet we were gaslit like there was no tomorrow.

Michell’s fashion sense wasn’t stellar. But…The fashion media wasn’t that hyped over Michelle.

And the media pushed Jill harder: Michelle and Jill were on Vogue’s cover 3x during their reign. That means they pushed Jill twice as hard.

Here they are, side by side. Neither win awards. But, Jill is clearly the weaker of the two.

I've noticed that too. Jill usually wore dresses made from early 1970's couch coverings, lol.

On the other hand, maybe she's REALLY Alice Cooper in drag?:

Maybe POTUS Trump can pardon someone who can not hide behind the 5th. It is that simple, yet they do not do it.

Why?

Jill looks quite good for her age, but the main problem with her fashion choices were when she went too “young” (ruched-top sundress), too “bold” (bright sofa prints) or too “trashy” (black patterned tights w/ mini skirt). She just doesn’t seem to have a “classic” fashion sense or innate poise, and, even in very expensive clothing, she appears to be somehow a misplaced, gauche pretender.

Michelle, on the other hand, tried to promote unknown ethnic or “DEI” designers, with little discernment & very mixed results. She often came across as low-class, clueless & her “figure” and posture did not lend itself well to most designer clothing. I kind of felt sorry for her, until the fawning press made it ridiculous.

When I hear of people pleading the fifth it screams ‘guilty’.

I'll say this much...

If my doctor told Congress under oath that he's asserting his 5th amendment protection against self-incrimination when asked about his medical treatment of me, I know exactly how that would "scream" to me.

I want my doctor to declare unequivocally, "I gave my best care possible" whenever asked that question.

They need to haul in family members and others who have been pardoned, and ask them. They can’t plead the fifth. Of course, they can have amnesia, like Hilary did when she was questioned...

Yes they are doing it all wrong. They’ve got to turn a couple of the Biden handlers to rat out their fellow rats or else.

I’m surprised they didn’t use Hitlary’s “I can’t recall”, that would have been perfect considering the hearing is about Brandon’s cognitive decline.

EXACTLY!! Once they have immunity for anything they say they can’t invoke the 5th. I suspect they’s lie or use the “I can’t recall - Hillary defense”. Funny how Hillary did that and then made millions for her memoirs !
