President Donald Trump on Saturday defended Attorney General Pam Bondi as doing a "fantastic job" after she came under fire from some Trump supporters over the Department of Justice’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
"What's going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?' They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB," Trump wrote in a lengthy post on Truth Social on Saturday. "We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening."
He referred to Epstein as the "guy who never dies," adding, "For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again."
He continued to question why people were "giving publicity to Files written by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden administration."

We’re not letting this go so easily. Pro-Trump journalists, including many of the President’s closest media allies, want justice. We want the perpetrators of heinous crimes against children taken down. We don’t want them controlled. We want them punished.
It’s time for President Trump to read the room. This will not go away easily. And even if the administration stays on its current course and talk of Epstein eventually fades, it will never be forgotten. It’s the betrayal that stains his legacy. It’s the asterisk that will accompany his presidency no matter how much he’s able to accomplish.

Yesterday President Trump explained that the files were fake and his Attorney General was outstanding.
That means his outstanding Attorney General was scammed by fake files.

Some people care about Transparrency, others do not. Some people care about
being lied to, others do not. Some drink the kool-Aid. Others find it too bitter to
swallow.
Tell me what a prosecution would look like. Will you suspend existing statute of limitations? Will you have jurisdiction over alleged crimes committed outside our borders? Will you indict without evidence -- satisfied innuendo is sufficient?
Is the "list" acceptable without chain of custody? As part of your message, will everyone on the "list" be hauled before a judge and jury?
Will alleged victims be forced to testify at your trials? Will the word "alleged" still have a place in your legal proceedings --- for anyone?
Will you prosecute the parents of the victims? Because the surest way to insure another Epstein and Maxwell is to let parents off the hook who ignore their young daughters spending weeks on a private Caribbean island without them.
So, tell me what you're envisioning and how much time you'll be dedicating to it all.

A Representative I like, somewhat as much as you can like any politician, Tim Burchett said on X that Biden destroyed the files on the way out of the door. Maybe, but that still doesn’t square what Bondi said when she declared that she had the file on her desk.
I don’t think Bondi can survive this, especially with Bongino threatening. We’ll see if Bongino is as genuine as he has spent his post Secret Service career telling us he is.
I agree with Trump about the fact Epstein is insignificant, but the way Bondi has handled it is not. A terrible situation for sure.
BIDEN had the Epstein files for 4 years....We heard nothing.
Those are all good points—and exactly why Bondi etal should have kept their mouths shut on this case from day one.
They created their own problem.
Just because someone's name is placed on a list should not necessitate his reputation being destroyed. Not that I agree with dismissing the list en toto, but I don't think I would take any "list" compiled by a criminal pimp as gospel.
I think he ought to announce “I have the list. We know who is on it and right now it is a more useful tool for me to achieve the things I’ve promised than to release it without repercussions”
