1st!!
2nd!!
3rd!!
Howdy, luvie.
I hope the day turned out to be as pleasant as they predicted. Your kitties would certainly appreciate the break.
Good evening, radu...a dry day? Mowing completed til next time?
No sun today, but some relaxation was nice.
No mowing this evening, though I’d hoped to tackle along the driveway. Everything I’d already mowed needs it again, badly.
Had a heavy rain shower roll through not long after I woke up. It’ll be like this all week, with showers and storms popping up here and there. I have to hope for some days that none come here.
That rain shower sure cooled things off in a hurry. Went fro 94 degrees to 77 in a hurry!
Not a pretty day up there at all. It did sprinkle a little at the airports.
Hey there, radu!
It was really nice, temp-wise. The stiff breezes sort of put a crimp into the fun, but the kitties seemed happy. My hair got kinda Medusa-ish for a bit. LOL!
How was it there? Did it get as hot as they have been predicting all week? Or is that just on the coast?
Hey, enjoy the breeze while you have it. It does make it feel cooler, even if it does mess with one’s hair. LOL
It was definitely hot here and very muggy. It was 94 mid-afternoon, then a heavy rain shower came through and dropped the temp to 77. More showers passed close by that helped keep the temp down.
I’d hoped to mow this evening but the rain cancelled that plan in a hurry. This pattern will continue all week - - scattered showers. I just have to hope they all scatter elsewhere and let me get more mowing done. LOL
As well as could be expected. It is HOT! We stay inside because we do not want to get baked by the Sun or maybe broiled is a better word! ;-)
“Depends on what translation you’re reading.”
And which version, Old/New or which religion’s version.
LOL! I’ll bet all the dry times, when you could mow, will happen while you’re sleeping. Doesn’t that sound just about right? Just be thankful for the rain. I’m sure the farmers are....unless they need to do tractor stuff.
I just went out to give the kitties fresh water, and I sat in my chair for a bit. Still a bit too windy, but the cool air in the breeze was very refreshing. I took some nice deep breaths, to clean my lungs and brain. LOL!
I understand quite well. Summer has slammed in here, too, and central air is my best friend. I’m hangin’ tight with it. LOL
Pretty much. The showers start blowing up in the heat of the afternoon. I need at least two days with no rain at all so the grass can dry out enough to mow. It’s THICK and long and stays wet for a while.
No breeze here but it’s cool. The air’s pretty heavy though and it isn’t all the comfy for sitting outside long. I did stay out for a couple of minutes a little while ago because the first katydid is chattering! Sounds lonely with no one to reply to it. Maybe tomorrow night. In no time, there’ll be hundreds in the woods. WOOHOO!
Yesterday I got us some KFC supper.
Yesterday at Comanche Lake:
How's everyone doing this morning?
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Looks like Gizmo did a good job helping you walk off that KFC supper. :-)
Enjoy your katydid solo. He must be the scout for all the rest to let them know when they csn come and sing. f
I’m going o have to hang it up for the night. I’m so sleepy, I’m slippin’ into sleep sittin’ here, and it’s not a pleasant feeling. So...see ya tomorrow. I hope you can beat the rain and get some of that mowing done.
Can’t stay outside long. The air is nasty with pollen and fires up the sinuses. I did step out again for a minute to listen to the katydid though. Been waiting since last summer for those silly bugs. LOL
I hope you’re in bed by now and didn’t face-plant on the keyboard. :-) Catch ya tomorrow.
