Days after attacking a megabill that advances President Donald Trump's legislative agenda, Elon Musk slammed it again on Tuesday calling it a "disgusting abomination" in a post on X.

"I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination," Musk wrote of the House-passed bill. "Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it."

Musk followed up with another post claiming the bill "will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion (!!!) and burden America citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt."

Musk and Paul opposed.

I think they represent the (l)ibertarian wing of GOP?

Yeah, any product of the GOP house is going to be a larded pig.

He’s not wrong. But what he’s missing is; He’s not the Boss of the US. Neither is Trump, or Republicans in the Congress. We, the people are the boss…. And not enough of us care about spending or the debt.

If Elon really wants to help.. he should kick off an educational campaign to explain to the plebes how BAD it can be for EVERYONE if our financial system fails.

Crushing the American citizens with unsustainable debt is what DC politicians love doing the most.
They won’t be happy until we are all broke, enslaved or dead. Eff ‘em all.

First CNN, now ABC. Only ones to put Trump in the headline.

“We, the people are the boss”

And I, one person, thinks that Trump is taking us through a transition and wants some cushion, and assumes future prosperity will make it a profitable move.

WRONG.
Paul never ran a lemonade stand and made one quarter in profit. All he has done is belong to medical union and ran opthalmic practice for a short time.

Elon Musk is smartest business man in the world and engineer. He is 20 times or more richer than pDJT. His opinion has enormous value in economic issues.

I agree, this can be Elon’s next big thing. He could make it his new mission. It’s more pressing than sending a Tesla to Mars.

Musk opposes but wants the ev mandate…There is one person who is only looking out for the American people alone and that is Trump. Imagine complaining about the deficit but wanting the government to spend money enforcing such a silly mandate

The problem is what’s worse is not passing it and putting into place huge tax increases on the American people. The democrats and neocons know this and are filling it up with pork.

Yup.

I am as disgusted at it as he is, but at the same time I recognize the reality that with the current House it is not possible to get anything better passed.

I think Elon knows that too. It’s just his role is to keep pushing for something better.

Has Trump done an all caps Truth Social post yet, where he calls Musk “not a very bright person with terrible unreliable cars” yet?

They’re right. Interest on the debt is $1.2 TRILLION this year - more than everything except Social Security. It is like a family who has run up too much credit card debt and mist of their budget is going to make the minimum payments or using one card to pay another. It what happens when politicians are afraid to say No to every spending idea. Term limits would go long way to fixing it.

Non sequitur.

The bill is a pig whether Musk is feeding at the trough or not.
