Good post. Here’s another important word: Sorry.

It can de-escalate many situations. For example, suppose you drive out to a hardware store for a special wrench, and they don’t have what you want.

There’s a big difference between:

“We don’t have that wrench in stock.”
“Sorry, but we don’t have that wrench in stock.”

I would submit that police officers should use the word more often.

“You’re getting a ticket for speeding.”
vs.
“Sorry, but I have to give you a ticket for speeding.”

We finally had a good rain...pushing an inch. All the leaves are now clean. And today we’ve had enough sprinkles to actually make a tiny puddle in the street. Hoping it will start again.

Good Evening Kathy! (((Hugs))) And thank you .... I’ve a trip next week for three days 21,22,23 but home late on the 23d. A nice three city run, Vegas, Feenix, Vegas and home with some snow birds.

We have had the mixed blessing of 6.15 inches of rain from May 3 to May 16....great for the wells, but since hardly any days have been rain-free a real challenge for mowing the surging grasses.

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
