Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that former President Joe Biden should have dropped out of the 2024 presidential race earlier so Democrats could have had a primary.
Host Kristen Welker said, “Senator, would the party have had a better chance at winning in 2024 had President Biden dropped out sooner?”
Klobuchar said, “You know, everything we look at in a rear-view mirror after you lose an election. Yes, we would have been served better by a primary, but we are where we are. We’re not on the History Channel right now, and I believe that President Biden can come out and speak and do interviews whenever he wants.”

There are no democRATs qualified to run for president. There are irreconcilable differences between the ‘RAT objectives and the Constitution of the USA.

lol. As it was, the longer in her campaign the worse Harris numbers got. The more people saw of her the less they liked her.
If some Democrat had only noticed Biden’s White Privilege Card had expired.
They should have had a primary even if he was still running.
Why would Joe drop out if we were being told by the media and his party that he was performing at his peak?
They did have a primary, most voters voted for Biden. And rather than running an actual competitive primary which would have discovered just how awful Biden was doing, they repeated 2020, only forgot to find those extra 8 million Democrat voters.
Then you randomly decided to select someone who has never gotten a vote outside of their own state as someone qualified to step in to the role of president - only if that were actually the case, why wasn’t she actually president? If Joe Biden was incapable of campaigning for the office he holds, why was he serving in it?
Alright, well, it’s a plate of excitement, how to get people to accept it in the ballot box... Oh, I know, let’s do superstar concerts as campaign rallies, that’ll energize the youth who 100% votes Democrat and will instantly win.
Amy, the problem wasn’t that Biden stepped out too late, it was that your party decided that it was too complicated to have someone run for president, so Bookmark Biden would have to serve.
That’s true. The demonrat party platform is incompatible with our constitutional republic.
And dumping the sitting VP, a marginal, but self-identifying black woman, would have sat very poorly with the base.
I will forever be disgusted that our country has suffered such disgrace as brought upon it by Democrats.
Kammy had a problem nobody seems to want to talk about: a staff of amateur noobs who hated her, her boss's staff who hated her, no original ideas of her own, a bad habit of refusing to take responsibility (remember "They're not pinning this sh*t on me"?) and the laziest campaign since Basement Joe, who at least had the excuse of senility. A stuffed toy could have done as well.
But Dems said he was a shining example of youthful vitality and energy, his mind as sharp as ever. Anybody who dared suggest otherwise was immediately attacked.
This is absolute nonsense.
The issue is not Joe not dropping out earlier. There are three issues. First that the Democratic elite covered up Joe’s mental decline and should have required him to either quite as President or use the Constitutional removal clause.
Second, the Democratic elite should have had a process to come up with a better candidate than “word salad.” Third, “word salad” demonstrated on may issues that she was not capable of being VP, let alone President,
Anyone who thinks that the reason Trump got elected was because Joe didn’t bow out early enough is just not paying attention.
Klobuchar should’a dropped out years ago.
I suspect Amy was who picked Tampon Tim.
Having two village idiots on the ticket is what doomed it.
Too bad the GOP-e didn’t work harder as we could have picked up at least three more Senate seats.
Biden only dropped out because TRUMP exposed him as a blabbering fool during the debate. Biden SHOULD have dropped out in 2020, but thanks to Covid he was able run and hide for another four years, to the DETRIMENT of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. War in Ukraine, hostages in Israel, record inflation, massive fentanyl deaths, record illegal immigration, all because we had a President who was ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL.
