ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW....
I LEARNED FROM NOAH'S ARK

1. Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.

2. Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone might ask you to do something REALLY big.

3. Don't listen to critics -- do what has to be done.

4. Build on high ground.

5. For safety's sake, travel in pairs.

6. Two heads are better than one.

7. Speed isn't always an advantage. The cheetahs were on board, but so were the snails.

8. If you can't fight or flee -- float!

9. Take care of your animals as if they were the last ones on earth.

10. Don't forget that we're all in the same boat.

11. When the doo-doo gets really deep, don't sit there and complain -- shovel!!!

12. Stay below deck during the storm.

13. Remember that the ark was built by amateurs and the Titanic was built by professionals.

14. If you have to start over, have a friend by your side.

15. Remember that the woodpeckers INSIDE are often a bigger threat than the storm outside.

16. Don't miss the boat.

17. No matter how bleak it looks, there's always a rainbow on the other side.

LOL It happens once in a while. Fortunately, most of us are pretty good at reading typos. :-)

Been a fairly nice day up there. Some clouds but there’s been quite a bit of sunshine. Small plane pilots are enjoying the opportunity to use Lake Hood for take-offs and landings again. NO ICE!!!

Are the ducks coming back again after being scared off by the recent tree trimming by the creek?

Have you had any nice weather yet this spring? On the streets I drive to get out of my neighborhood has seen all snow piles finally melted. Last week my snow guys switched to lawn care and my spring clean up is done and the grass is turning green.

Yes, I did manage to whack it all down before the rain arrived. It already looks terrible again after almost 4 inches of rain the past two days. LOL There’s been a little lightning and thunder but no rough storms, thank goodness.

Still enjoying cool temps today?

It was downright chilly here, only reaching upper 50s with wind. And a lot of rain again.
I had to switch back over to heat this afternoon because I was cold.

Yes, it was just wonderful. “They” said it reached 80, but the house was comfortably cool, and I slept like a baby last night. LOL!

Still getting rain. Lucky! But 50s? That’s almost TOO cool. No wonder you had to switch over to heat! We haven’t had either on. Love saving money. :D
