Newborns can’t even control their own movements, but that isn’t stopping New Jersey hospitals from asking parents for their baby’s preferred pronouns and sexual orientation.
Inspira Health’s “Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Questionnaire” requires new parents to “identify” their babies as either “Male, Female, Transgender, Gender Queer,” or “Additional gender category.”

I see one good purpose in this: to identify moms who are mentally ill and get them counseling and therapy before they damage that newborn.
At least one study has found that the greatest predictor for gender dysphoria is having a mentally-ill mother.

I am all for it, as long as they use the questionnaire only to identify parents who are mentally ill and whose babies are at risk for abuse and mutilation. If you think your newborn baby is transgender, “gender queer,” homosexual or has any other sexual orientation, then you need serious psychological help.

I’m 71. Lately I’ve learned the first names of a lot of healthcare providers. The forms I’m filling out want to know my sex “assignment” at birth and how I presently “identify.” Frankly, I find this insulting and annoying.
that being said, let me say that if you are a white person never ever ever on any form mention that you are white. It does absolutely nothing to help you. If you’re going for a job, always say that you are Native American or something or black or whatever no one can prove anything. So yes, I repeat, never mention that you are white on any form or that any baby is white on any form because like I say we no longer have any justification to do that. It will only hurt you for your entire life.Be 3/4 Cherokee or Hispanic not White. Whatever you have to put.
This is insane. Even those who support transgenderism, they are supposed to leave it up to the individual. The parents can’t decide that for their kids. Unless of course the whole purpose is to raise kids to be something they can’t decide for themselves. Like if you’re born into a religious family, any religion, you’re likely to identify as that religion. But transgenderism? Is it a religious faith? An ethnicity?
I am a superhero so mine are Great, greater, and GREATEST!. the last is first of course. it’s true too! my mom told me so.
It’s completely bonkers. The kid doesn’t even know the answer yet.
The whole thing is proof that gender is not a choice if someone can choose it for you.

I do online check ins for the wife and son all the time. Periodically they will have a gob of questions about mental health and other things. I always hit CHOOSE NOT TO ANSWER.
Some years back I went to the ER for a very bad cough. They asked if I felt safe in my home environment. I told her no, my cat sometimes attacks my feet at night. She didn’t ask any more questions.
I identify as a multi-millionaire, but the banks always laugh at me when I tell them that.
