Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Sunday that Israel will be halting all movement of goods into Gaza, following Hamas’s apparent rejection of a ceasefire proposal suggested by President Donald Trump’s envoy.

As Breitbart News reported Saturday, “Israel accepted a new proposal by the Trump administration on Saturday night, under which all of the 63 remaining hostages would be released over the course of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, en route to a permanent ceasefire.”

It was not clear at the time what Hamas’s response would be to the proposal, which had been conveyed by U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff.

He should have laid siege on day one. Unconditional surrender, hostages considered as prisoners of war.

Hamas is trying to force the renewed ‘aid’ from USAID by pressuring the US. We will soon hear the gnashing of teeth from them, but Iran will not support them any longer and their main benefactor, USAID, is taken off the table for now. Watch Ukraine to see how many of our weapons show up on Gaza’s doorstep.

Death is required. Statr with the Hamas negotiators where ever they are. All the Hamas officials outside of Gaza must be located and killed. Then, reinvade the hamas strongholds, find and destroy all the remaining tunnels. Hmas must be killed off man, woman and child

No quarter, no mercy.

Any responsible government would’ve destroyed the enemy first attacking on October 7, NOT feed and provision it. And especially not while it continues to Ocupy Gaza. Israel aiding and abetting the enemy was an INSANE, self- defeating policy Prine Minister Bibi. Now get in with the job of removing them permanently — no more “humanitarian” aid to prop up those seeking to slaughter you. Destroy them all.
Or is this simple fact of life (staying alive) just too complicated for you to understand?

Not to mention the gnashing of teeth from the Democrats, the Has-Been-Press (HBP), the Euroweenies, etc. If Donald Trump proposes it, they're against it.

Hey, I like the term I just made up, Has-Been-Press (HBP0, pass it on.

Many of them are in Qatar. Trump should tell the Qatari government that they will be turned over to us in chains or he will cancel every single Qatari visa, cut them off from US banks, and blockade their ports.

Give them until close of business tomorrow to comply.

No longer accept the lie that Hamas and the “civilian” population are not the same entity. I lost a good friend when I said this.
But I say what I see. There is no difference. The children are taught from age three that Christians and Jews must be killed.
My wife is Jewish and has relatives in Israel. No problem for me to level the Gaza strip.

We have already learned that I.n the past-—HAMAS STEALS THE TRUCKS OF SUPPLIES-—THEN CHARGES THE GAZANS FOR SUCH.

Unfortunately, Qatar is too wealthy and has too much oil and natural gas for this to be an effective move.

We enriched Islamic states to establish the US dollar as the world reserve currency, aka petrodollar. We also did this with Communist states in our eagerness to prosper from global trade.

Now these decisions have come back to haunt us.

How much oil and gas could they ship with their port’s blockaded? How much money could they access if they’re cut off from the US banking system?

“How much oil and gas could they ship with their port’s blockaded? How much money could they access if they’re cut off from the US banking system?”

I get your point. It would be good to exert pressure on Qatar. But certain countries require more diplomacy. We cannot use the same strongarm tactics with everyone or we’ll get burnt. We have the strongest economy and military. But we can’t get to a point of us against the rest of the world. Because Qatar relies more on us than we do them, some economic pressure could be exerted, theoretically, but it would be risky.

American companies with stakes in Qatar or those relying on Qatari goods could take a serious hit. Qatar might hit back by pulling its money out of US markets and making it tough for American businesses to operate there. This could ruffle feathers with other Gulf countries, potentially messing up regional friendships.

The bigger worry is that Qatar might cozy up to Iran, which is exactly what the US doesn’t want in the Middle East. Plus, there’s the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which is very important for US military ops in the region. If that gets disrupted, it could throw a wrench in counter-terrorism efforts.

And Qatar’s not likely to take this lying down. They’ve got tricks up their sleeve to keep selling oil and staying connected to markets. They could ship stuff through Iran or find new routes around the Arabian Peninsula. They’re also beefing up their own port to handle more trade. Qatar might make new friends with countries like Turkey and Asian nations while ramping up the production of essentials at home. They’re sitting on a massive pile of cash too, which they could use to invest globally and keep their financial game strong.

Qatar’s also got an ace with its liquefied natural gas exports, which are easier to ship worldwide. They might look into crypto or team up with non-US banks to keep money flowing. By playing it smart with existing deals and pipelines, Qatar could weather the storm and stay in the global market game.

So, the idea of such sanctions needs to be weighed against these potential risks.
