PRAYER FOR GOD'S PEOPLE

"Fear the Lord, you holy ones, for nothing is lacking to those who fear the Lord. The mighty will grow poor and hungry; but those who seek the Lord will never go wanting." (Psalm 34).

Mighty God, Creator of the Cosmos, you have entrusted to us the care of this planet. Breathe your loving Spirit into the hearts and minds of us all. Instruct us in your ways. And most of all, enable us to establish justice and peace in our homes, our work sites, our nation, and this world. You alone are Lord. You alone are the Mighty One. You live and reign forever and ever. Amen.

Reckon y’all will get some snow before the Iditarod starts in a couple of weeks? To save money and headaches, the mushers should should put wheels on their sleds. LOL

Too many “nuisance snows” this week (including early this afternoon)

Stove has been in shutdown since January 26 but that will change tomorrow afternoon. President’s Day through next Sunday headed for lows in the teens, plus a chance for a major snowstorm Wednesday night into Thursday.

The sensationalists are saying 11 - 13.

The scientists are saying “too soon to call but maybe 5...or more”.

Hai Kathy! (((Hugs))) - we’re having rain and fog which is good, clearing out the snow. No jumping today and Sunday looks the same. I guess it’s time to haul out the books and do a bit of studying, stay sharp.

I sure did! It felt good. Maybe I’ll even survive the alarm tomorrow morning. LOL!

I saw on X that there were tornadoes around your state. Were any of them near you?

Gotta watch that clock tonight! LOL

No, the tornados were in west TN. The line of storms hasn’t gotten close to us yet. It’s really creeping and has flooded a lot of that end of the state.

They did just put us under a tornado watch withing the last half hour or so since I last checked though. We’ve been under a wind advisory since midnight and it goes until tomorrow at noon. It was roaring when I went to bed this morning but had toned down a little this afternoon. Now it’s worse than it was this morning. I thought a train was going by but it kept going and going. I opened the front door and it was the wind I’d been hearing. It’s thumping against the windows now.
I’m praying nothing large gets blown out of any trees.

Ooooo...I hope all that bad stuff stays well away from you. The high wind is bad enough, with all the trees you have.

It’s been pretty breezy here, too, and though it got up into the 60s today, tomorrow the high will only be 46. Not awful, but after a warm day, the 40s feel colder than they really are. The kitties won’t be happy, for sure.
