Young liberal women are especially prone nowadays to reporting poor mental health. This was the discovery that Zach Goldberg made almost five years ago pouring over Pew data in the spring of 2020. Further research in 2022 found that depression had surged among liberal high school girls in the last decade-and-a-half, and much more so for them than other high schoolers, especially conservatives.
Is this ideological gap in the mental health of liberal and conservative women still present?
Yes, new evidence from 2024 American Family Survey indicates it is. Young liberal women are markedly less satisfied with life than their conservative peers. Specifically, we found that 37% of conservative women reported being “completely satisfied” with life, whereas only 12% of liberal women did. Young conservative women are three times as likely to report being very satisfied with life compared to young liberal women. Moreover, liberal women are two to three times more likely to report they are “not satisfied” with their lives, compared to conservative women. And consistent with previous research, the effect of ideology on young women’s happiness held up to controls for age, education, race, and income.

I’m in MA where just about all the women are Liberal. I almost never encounter a woman who seems at all happy. They all seem perpetually angry and miserable.
Lesbians are awful depressed and self absorbed people. IF they were as flexible as their cats, they would not date.
This one is easy.
Most liberal women are unattractive.
Most conservative women are attractive.
Could it be that women become liberal because more of them suffer from rejection, and more conservative woman experience being loved and accepted?

They are unmoored and isolated with plenty of rage in their hearts for a variety of reasons ... this is not a recipe for joy.
They’re looking for something that doesn’t exist. They pour their efforts into finding solutions for things that aren’t happening, like Global Warming. Even if those things were happening, the efforts of an individual are irrelevant. Yet, they’ve been told their whole lives that “THEY” will make difference. Their knowledge of politics and essential oils are critical to human survival. So, they think, and plot and do...and nothing changes. How depressing. Further, if their efforts had an effect, how would they know because the demands of their cult are never ending. Yep, suicide is the answer, or castration to prevent a future where...uhm, people all die? Wait! What?
Because they are mentally deranged liberals. That is why. It is a disease. Almost uncurable. Ouch.
Along those lines — I have known feminist women who believe a woman should have the right to control her own life. She should be free to do what she wants. Go to college! Have a career! Start a business! Anything she wants should be OK!
And then you can ask: Can she be a housewife?
No! No! No! She cannot! That would be wrong! It’s not an option!
And these women, who think that careers are the only acceptable path, tend to hate their career and feel miserable that they had to choose that path. And they deeply resent any women who managed to escape the trap.
Inequality and failure suck....... that’s the reason
Why? They make bad decisions and don’t live right.
Yes, liberalism depends on acceptance of a contrived narrative, and denial of reality. Denial of reality is maladaptive. People who can’t adapt to reality are naturally going to be unhappy, because they don’t know how to get their needs met.
Could it be ... SATAN?!?
