Volodymyr Zelensky says he has again discussed the notion of deploying Western troops to Ukraine to face down future Russian aggression in a telephone call with his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron.
The Ukrainian and French presidents continue to be the central nexus of organisation for a mooted deployment of Western troops to support Kyiv. Zelensky confirmed he had discussed the matter again with Macron on Monday evening. Announcing the call, Zelensky said the pair had discussed the battlefield situation and agreed to continue working closely on “achieving peace and developing effective security guarantees.”
Zelensky said one of those guarantees discussed was “the French initiative to deploy military contingents in Ukraine. We addressed practical steps for its implementation, potential expansion, and the involvement of other nations in this effort.”

Zelinski and Macron are definitely using the war to cover for domestic relations-hips. Zelinski and the Macrons make quite the poster children for the LGBT Movement.
I don’t care how many French troops Macron deploys to Ukraine. I also have no interest in how much money the French send to Zelensky. My concern is for the American taxpayer.

Note also that "path to peace" is now a goal, not a process. Comes to this. Z is running out of soldiers and wants European soldiers to replace them. Seems Europe's solidarity is ever less solid.

If there is a way to really screw things up, Zelensky will find it. He’s flailing and running out of soldiers. Some of those poor guys have been on the line for over a year, there are no replacements available for rest and rotations. NATO thinks it can fight a war with just money and equipment. Now it’s running out of both and panic is setting in.
