During an interview with “CBS Evening News” that took place on Thursday and was released on Friday, LAFD Chief Kristin Crowley denied that diversity initiatives have harmed the department’s ability to respond to emergencies like the recent fires and stated, “my number one priority is making sure that we can take care of the community that we took an oath to take care of, and with that is our ability to respond to emergencies.”
Crowley stated, “My top three priorities since day one [have] been this, I want to clearly articulate that: The number one priority from day one is ensuring that the LAFD has the capability to respond to our emergency calls, that we’re able to provide services to the citizens every single day, every single hour. That’s my number one priority.”

And she considers promoting diversity a service that needs to be provided to the citizens. So she's telling the truth - promoting diversity is her number one priority.

There is one thing that has become crystal clear since Obama and Biden have been in office. Anything out of their mouths or any of their other lackeys has been proven to be a 100% lie. The legacy of Obama/Biden is the absoloute distrust in the federal government.

Except that’s not what her published goals state. Number one was diversity. Addressing fires was, IIRC, #3.
Can you imagine if a male firefighter had said “well, a woman shouldn’t have gotten herself into that predicament” when explaining why he wouldn’t or couldn’t carry a woman out of a burning building? 20,seconds later and he wouldn’t have his job, yet a lesbian or dei hire say that, about not having th3 strength to carry out a man from a burning building, and the media ignore it.
In other words, diversity isn’t the reason you’re incompetent. You were at maximum incompetence without diversity.
