SYRIAN despot Bashar al-Assad traded his country's military secrets with Israel in exchange for safe passage out of the country, it has been claimed.
The murderous tyrant allegedly handed over coordinates for weapons depots which Israel is now using to drop bombs on Syrian targets in a cowardly last act.

seems like a fair trade. /S
Our POS officials would do the same thing
Dirty deals, done dirt cheap!
While I don’t doubt Assad would do this, I doubt it is true.
First, it’s too pat and too saving of face for Syrians. Evil Joos victorious; must be a betrayal! No, Israel is just good and knew where all this was.
Second, if true, nobody involved would talk.
If so, he did it to settle some scores and because he expects to return and doesn't want his adversaries quite so well armed.
Works for me. 😏
Compare:
“Abdulkadir Selvi, a well-established commentator from Turkish newspaper Hurriyet, said a reliable source told him …”
with
“ Earlier reports revealed how Assad told his staff he was heading home for the day before escaping to the airport to be smuggled out of Syria.
The tyrant didn’t even tell some of his closest family with one of his cousins shot dead by rebels in an ambush trying to flee Damascus.
Assad told almost no one amongst his closest staff or advisers that he was planning to flee the country, Reuters reports.”
So we are to believe he kept his flight secret from his closest allies and family, but blabbed about his betrayal?
lol. Sure.
He is smart. I hope lady Asma is safe.
The plot sickens...
There is nothing wrong with making certain your enemies cannot keep the loot they stole from you. It is basic human nature.
Reasonable response. Why let your deposers have the gear? There is no Syria any more, why do they need military hardware.
Similar to the claim Russia tipped off Israel to weapons stockpiles in Syria that Russians knew about, had to abandon, or had provided to Assad. Turkish-backed jihadis don’t have many allies.
Although it sounds “Middle East” I’m not buying this one.
His primary focus was to not be un-alived. Israel was the only ones who could make sure he was safe once he got off the ground. I’m guessing the IDF knew he where he was at all times. They could have taken him out once he was airborne or at least he believed they could. Munitions dumps are more important than his head on a plaque to everyone but him.
I do note they are not attacking the Soviet bases. Are the turks?
SWEET!
Sounds like a good plan.
OMG WHAT A WEASEL!!!!! :)
yet a DIFFERENT rumor is that the soviets tipped off the locations to the IDF so the arms wouldn’t fall into the hands of ISIS ...
“I do note they are not attacking the Soviet bases.”
supposedly the rebels and the soviets are currently in discussions about the fate of these bases ..
