Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) insisted he has “credible” sources that drones in his state could be from Iran, calling the Pentagon’s handling of the situation “incredibly stupid.”
Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh dismissed Van Drew’s claims Wednesday, saying there is not “any truth” to the New Jersey lawmaker’s claims on the drones or that they came from an Iranian ship off the coast. However, Van Drew pushed back against this dismissal.
“They’ve been incredibly stupid and incredibly weak with this,” Van Drew said on Fox News’s America’s Newsroom. “Here’s the point: we know they’re not backyard drones that some hobbyist is using because they’re more sophisticated than that. We know that they’re not a commercial company within the United States because we don’t even have this level of sophistication yet. We’re a full decade behind where China is with drones. The government claims it’s not them, they say it’s not them. So who is it?”
The New Jersey lawmaker then reiterated his claim that “dependable” whistleblowers informed him that there is “a real possibility” these drones are from Iran. He then said, “as cited by the Coast Guard,” that the drones are going in and out of the ocean, where they are landing on “something.”
Van Drew then questioned why the Pentagon did not choose to take down one of these drones and properly analyze it.
“It reminds me of the spy balloon last year: traveled the whole country, obtained all the information it wanted as it was just about to exit, then finally, the president ordered it to be shot down,” Van Drew said. “This is weakness and stupidity, and it’s intolerable.”
Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) has similarly warned about these drones, saying over a dozen of them followed a 47-foot Coast Guard boat Sunday night. During a recent congressional hearing, Smith urged officials to grant authorization for these drones to be shot down, calling them “a very serious threat.”
Gov. Phil Murphy (D-NJ) has said the drones are using “very sophisticated” technology, and “they go dark” as soon as they are spotted.
This guy has ‘very high sources’ telling him about a ‘mothership’ is that you Rita X?

Does anyone have some thermal imaging? Arteries and Motors putout Alotof heat
I worry about what the ignition will be for this war with Iran before Trump is set to take office.
Hopefully it has nothing to do with President Trump’s life.
If they are Russian or Chinese we are F__KED. This means they , at this point, have us by the balls, unless we have a "trump" card we could pull out (which has nothing to do with President Elect Trump) that is along the lines of Super duper advanced US or "alien" tech that render all known weapons obsolete and we are just seeing what they have and how far they will push.
I rather it be "aliens" than our enemies, because I have no proof we have super duper tech that renders all other stuff Russia and China have irrelevant at this point. We are falling behind, and they have infiltrated EVERY aspect of our government, including the White House.
The most likely scenario is that it is US government drones patrolling and or searching for the next bio or nuclear attack, which is why they are patrolling around airbases and nuclear facilities.
Or this is some next generation Project Blue Beam meant for our masses of asses.
Retired Admiral Kirby at the White House briefing just said all these reports of drones are just bunk - manned aircraft being operated lawfully, Coast Guard confirms no involvement from foreign vessels, and no reported or confirmed sightings in restricted airspace.
Seems to me that we have been in a covert war for some time.
The Pentagon says, “No.”
So it is true then
So Kirby says there’s nothing to this but legit air traffic. That’s what they’re going with?
The images and videos of the drones I’ve seen show they have anti-collison lights. If they were hostile or spy drones they wouldn’t be warning other aircraft of their position. Unless their are blacked out ones we can’t see.
Most might be aircraft, but he’s still lying. A police helicopter had eyes on one, and time-lapse videos clearly show drone fight paths. At least some are drones.
Apparently so. Said they had several agencies look at this and from the reports they have there is nothing they can verify as unidentified drones. This sounds a lot like explantations for years of UFO reports from credible sources that the government says have alternative explanations or are just plain mistakes.
With a rowboat and a credit card I can make a “drone carrier”.
The US does not have ships large enough to carry the number, types, and sizes of drones that are attributed to being on a ship.
The one in that picture if its real isnt capable even if Iran had the tech.
How are they able to fly drone from Iran to here?
No doubt. Still from the Pentagon a “No” is usually a “Yes.”
A Chinese national was just caught flying a drone near a “sensitive military coastal base”.
So, nothing to worry about...
Oh, and he’s only been in the USA for a few days.
