Police found a manifest on the person of interest nabbed at a McDonald’s in connection with the shooting death of UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson.
Ex-Ivy League student Luigi Mangione, 26, was taken into custody in Altoona, Pennsylvania after customers in a McDonald’s recognized him and tipped off local law enforcement.
Law enforcement found at least four fake IDs on Mangione, a gun with a silencer and a manifesto.
According to The New York Post, Luigi Mangione’s manifesto ranted against the healthcare industry.
“These parasites had it coming” and “I do apologize for any strife and trauma, but it had to be done,” a police official who has seen the document told CNN.
Mangione was anti-Capitalist, ranted about the healthcare industry’s massive profits and believes in climate change.
Update: Luigi Mangione is facing gun charges in Pennsylvania.

The New York Post reported:
The former prep school valedictorian was caught with a manifesto that appeared to list grievances against the health care industry, including its taking of enormous profits and its alleged shady motives, sources said.
Mangione has subscribed to anti-capitalist and climate-change causes in addition to showing he despises the health care industry in the country, according to law enforcement sources, citing online activity gleaned by authorities.
On the Goodreads website, Mangione’s account shows quotes he particularly likes ranging from Socrates to Bruce Lee — to wacky anti-establishment Kaczynski, the infamous “Unabomber’’ who terrorized the country for nearly two decades by dispatching deadly bombs before he was nabbed in 1996.

As previously reported, UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson was shot in the chest Wednesday morning outside the Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan in what is believed to be a targeted attack.
Thompson, 50, arrived before 7 am for a conference when he was shot at multiple times by a masked man who police say was waiting for him to arrive, the New York Post reported.
Thompson was pronounced dead at the Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Chilling surveillance video shows the assailant methodically getting into position as Brian Thompson walked in front of the Manhattan Hilton Hotel.
The gunman fired several rounds at Brian Thompson causing him to stumble, before shooting him again.
When high profile murders are solved this quickly, what does that tell us?
Sting the POS up! He’s got it coming. A nice piece of hemp and let the dance begin.
Well, if they find he is mentally incompetent to stand trial due to his beliefs does that mean believing in climate change is crazy?
Not just the speed.
But also the alleged backround of the alleged perp.
“ When high profile murders are solved this quickly, what does that tell us?”
That a guy like this who thinks he smarter than everyone, can’t get away with it.
Plus he left too many clues, number 1 the facial pictures
It wasn’t solved by the police. Had it not been for the McDonald’s employee he would still be free.............
A few pictures and a $50K reward may have solved the case.
And the winner is .... Whacho Antifa Internet Wannabe.
Well, I got it wrong. I predicted Armenian or Iranian based on the gigantic eyebrows, but it looks like he’s Italiano. Mea culpa, mea culpa...
Anyone have the numbers of denied claims vs deaths due to the denied claims?
I don’t think there’s a good solution to our health insurance problems.
Killing someone isn’t it.
We have a prison overcrowding problem.
I don’t think he’d like someone killing him over it.

Good question to ask. Probably that this was a managed event to create a certain mindset in the population. Let’s see what the “motive” will be. Anger at the health insurance industry? Something to distract from the corruption that the victim was involved in, which may extend to people in the government (think insider trading by congress critters)
Another question to ask is, what else was going on that we didn’t focus on, while this manhunt dominated the news cycle?
We know more about this guy in less than 24hours than we’ve learned about the Butler, PA shooter in five months.
And don’t get me started about the trans Christian school shooter…
Where’s BLM?? Doesn’t matter......It was a white guy.
“Mangione was anti-Capitalist”
Mangiones’ are a well known Baltimore family wealthy from Capitalism aka free markets.
The McDonald’s employee in PA surely didn’t have the other tidbits of information that would have made the person recognizable. And they would have been foolish to try to make the arrest on their own. I suspect that the NY cops are going to try to quickly get their case documented sufficiently to extradite him on murder charges and then keep him locked up until he faces trial in NYC. The question now is whether or not the rules on bail are sufficient to keep him locked up in NYC now that wokeness, rather than fairness, seems to be the way things are done in NYC.
IMO, his approach to making his voice heard was wrong. We must never let Violence be an acceptable way to solve problems. We must solve problems through due process, the Rule of Law, checks/balances, and We The People making our voices heard through Elections and the safeguards in the Bill of Rights, rest of the Constitution, and other laws & natural rights.
Still can’t absolutely rule out other reasons for his actions but if all we’re being told is true, he would seem unlikely to be more than a preKascinski psychotic break lunatic. Smart people become crazy killers too.
My original suspicion about his wife being involved....most likely wrong.
So, they can hunt this guy down, but no material on who left the white substance at the white house? or couldn’t protect Donald Trump on atleast 2 occasions?
I dunno, maybe that government jumps to the tune of the wealthy?
