The Iranian president is as pro western as you’ll ever get. Iran did not want or aspire to nuclear status.

The Iranians want rapprochement with the West. Iran does NOT want to escalate. There is a MAD final equilibrium now.

Trump must know the strength of Iranian air defense and ballistic missiles. They were shown to the world 10/1 and 10/25. Israel is in a no win situation. Israel is now the 2nd conventional power in the region.

The Trump deal would deescalate and give Bibi a face saving out of Gaza, Lebanon and defeat (conventional or MAD) at the hands of Iran.

Trump will do the deal and save Israel from Bibi.

Remember how stunned everyone was when Trump went to North Korea to deal with Little Rocket Man (that ba$tard Pompeo derailed the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula process).

Is he going to enforce the sanctions against Iran?

It worked with Khadafy. Tactics were different but more expensive. Israel mighta had something to do with Trump’s softer approach. The mullahs gotta be worried about their own people.

That’s not the way they felt 2 weeks ago. It’s amazing what a strong American President can do to persuade fascist regimes to become open minded and conciliatory. In the mean time, Bibi is doing what he has to do. When Hamas and Hezbollah stop waging war against his country, then there will be a ceasefire.

He isn’t looking for regime change, but the Iranian people are.

The Iranians want rapprochement with the West. Iran does NOT want to escalate.

That may be what the Iranian president and the people want, but Iran has a very radical Muslim theocratic underpinning that makes it unpredictable.

They must have approved marijuana use in your state. You are highly delusional. Iran put a contract out on Trump. Iran shot 182 ABM’s at Israel and not one Israeli died. Israel responded knocking out their air defense systems leading to their nuclear facilities. You keep dreaming with your antisemitic spin. Trump has already stepped in with the Netherlands on what happened Thursday night in Amsterdam.

Wow. yours is as wrong and leftist an article as I’ve seen on here in a long time.

No one wants complete and utter oppression and one is a fool if they think anything else is happening in Iran.

And OF COURSE they want a nuclear program.

Maybe you haven’t read the paper for 40 years.

They hate Israel.

Also, Israel isn’t the 2nd best conventional power now.

Put down the crack pipe

It’s interesting how Trump understood what so many foreign policy experts have missed over the years. You can often achieve regime change without actually deposing those in power. Even among some of the most bellicose regimes in the world, it’s often possible to use carrot and stick to change a regime’s policies. Same personnel, different policies. It’s a different kind of regime change but the effect is the same and a lot less costly in lives and treasure.

It’s worth mentioning that America alone is in a position to effect this sort of peaceful regime change and only if it has a President like Trump who knows how to use the country’s enormous leverage. That’s what comes with being the world’s only super-power. It can bring enormous benefit to the world if its power is used wisely and it can generate tremendous chaos if it isn’t.

What? No war with Iran? There goes neocon votes for Trump. But he won’t run in 2028, so no problem.

Even hallucinations couldn’t make up such ridiculously disassociated bullsheit. Someone is writing from the Iranian dictator’s propaganda department. Begging for mercy for all their crimes. This soon, too
President Trump doesn’t even get to take office for weeks.
Ha!

Trump’s vibe here is one of peace and cooperation in the best interests of both the U.S. and Iran. His focus on “no nuclear weapons”, though, drops a huge hint.

First, that Israel in its retaliatory strikes against Iran may soon no longer find itself handcuffed with respect to sites it concludes are part of Iran’s long-suspected nuclear weapons program.

And second, that Trump’s hand, now being extended ostensibly in genuine friendship, could and would, in real time, be closed into a fist, if his incoming administration concludes that Iran is making any (or any further) false moves.

By false moves is meant, whatever final moves Iran would need to make to finally become a nuclear power—a.k.a, join the “Nuclear Club”.

What a crock of drivelous balderdash.

By the time Trump resumes his presidency, both Hamas and Hezbollah will be like heart burn after Tums....... gone.

The who;e war with Israel is the doing af a failed Iranian hope of returning to the Obama status quo. The Black Presidents proIran legacy is now just tatters fluttering in the Abraham Accord winds.

“It worked with Khadafy.”

Quite right. Khadafy—the man of a thousand name spellings.

Unfortunately, bloodthirsty Hillary (”We came, we saw, he died.”) as Secretary of State, looking at Libya, couldn’t leave well enough alone.

Trump will never need another dime of Sheldon Aldelson’s money. Iran has had a fatwa against nukes until this crap storm hit. They don’t want to nuke us or terrorize us, they want to do business with us.

If Iran and the West ever come to terms it will be with Pezeshkian. This guy’s main goal is the lifting of sanctions and normalcy. If we miss the opportunity that means Pezeshkian’s days are numbered, to be replaced by another hardliner. Win or loose, Iran and Israel will both be devastated in a general war.

Everyone wins with a Trump deal. If Netanyahu can avoid going to jail during peace time, even he wins.

Yeah, what a difference and election makes.

After Israel's destruction of Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran's complete air defense networks, Iran is on the run.

There are reports that the Iranian proxy Houthi Rebels in Yemen surrendered to the Yemen government literally less than 24 hours after Trump won the election.

The Saudis have been fighting the Houthis for over decade with little success but just the fear of Trump's second term induced them to throw in the towel.

The Biden Administration has been letting the Houtis run wild in the Red Sea while squandering hundreds of billions of dollars in US missile defense assets to intercept Houthi missiles. that should have been destroyed in their bunkers at the very outset.

In contrast, President Trump ended the Houthis just by being elected.

That's how much they fear this guy.

On Wednesday, the Telegram channel of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IGRC), its military force, posted a video threatening to kill Trump. It ended with footage of a bloodied Trump and the words “We will finish the job.”

You are wrong. Read the positions of Pezeshkian. Trump can have him practically jumping through hoops for a path to normalcy.

Go back and check Trump’s pre negotiation rhetoric about Little Rocket Man. I saw Trump do things in the first administration diplomatically that were awe inspiring.

The Art of the Deal! I’m praying Trump still has the magic. What other hope do we have for Israel and peace?
