Curtis Sliwa, a Republican candidate for New York City Mayor, said in an interview with Kan that anti-Semitism is something intrinsic to non-Jews and that he himself has to sometimes hold back from expressing antisemitism.
During a rally in support of presidential candidate Donald Trump, Sliwa said: "I tell the Jews all the time - I'm a Gentile, it's in our DNA."
"You need to wake up and understand that we always blame the Jews no matter what happens, and no matter what peace agreements you make. They will always hate you. That's how it is in America and that's how it is in other places. I also have to hold myself back sometimes, and I have two Jewish children," he claimed.

Maybe he's just f@#$ed in the head?
Wait. What? Pretty bizarre thing to say, IMO.
Deep State doesn’t care.
Why do you think NYC now has RCV for mayorals...?
too much patrolling the subway over the years has an effect it seems or maybe just living in NYC itself
regrettably, very regrettably, he does speak truth for a significant number of non-Jewish people
What a load of BS. Never in my life have I harbored intrinsic hatred for Jews. And the people who do are people I don't associate with in any way. That doesn't mean they don't exist (And they certainly do on the Left, and with Sliwa's 'confession' here, some on the "Right" (ostensibly) apparently do too.)
So, Sliwa is an anti-semite with a baked-in prejudice from his mother's milk (as he says all non-Jews have) so his way to rationalize it is to say "everyone has it". What a load of crap.
Please provide proof of that statement in support of an asinine theory by Sliwa.
“ Curtis Sliwa, a Republican candidate for New York City Mayor, said in an interview with Kan that anti-Semitism is something intrinsic to non-Jews…”
What? Silva speaks for himself, don’t put that BS on me.
“anti-Semitism is something intrinsic to non-Jews and that he himself has to sometimes hold back from expressing antisemitism.”
What? XD, no it’s not.
What do they put in the water in NYC?
Bull Spit, Curtis!
Bad learned attitudes can be UN-learned.
They’re not inherited.
Yep exactly. Saying this while running for mayor of NYC seems bizarre.
OOoooohhh... I see.
More Nazi propaganda. More laying of the groundwork.
These folks seem to be organizing a plan. I suspect it is to justify the violence they have planned.
People from New York, Los Angeles and a few other cities and who are not in a world of doctors and lawyers and publishing etc. would probably be shocked to learn that most Americans wouldn’t know if they have ever even met a jew, much less ever think about a jew or know anything about them.
Guess he got knocked out too many times? It ain’t intrinsic in me assclown. What happened curtis?
Oh, the Protestants hate the Catholics,
And the Catholics hate the Protestants,
And the Hindus hate the Moslems,
And everybody hates the Jews.
—Tom Lehrer
This is opposite of the truth for Christian Americans, but it may be true of people on the Left since they are spiritually corrupt and motivated by hate. The Left hates good and loves evil.
These interview excerpts seem rather chopped up. What was the context?
Was Sliwa making observations about anti-Semitic attitudes being common historically, no matter what time has passed?
Was Sliwa saying that anti-Semitic stereotypes have such strength that even well-meaning people can fall prey to them?
Was Sliwa advising Jews to remember that anti-Jewish attitudes will always exist to some degree, no matter how many peace treaties there are? (This is just objectively true.)
I would like to see some context as to how the topic was brought up, because Arutz Sheva doesn’t seem to clarify.
Then all of a sudden, we jump to a Donald Trump rally in the second paragraph.
This article screams "emotionally manipulative clickbait."
Ive never understood antisemitism. I’m not in the least religious. No offense but religion of any sort never made any sense to me. Despite that, shouldn’t Christians and muslims celebrate Abraham, a Jew, who essentially founded or created the basis for their religions? Weren’t Jesus and all the apostles Jews? Wasn’t Mary?
In a sense, one may differ with one’s older brother but shouldn’t one respect him even if one doesn’t agree with him?
He also speaks the truth for a lot of self loathing Jews in this country.
He doesn’t speak for me- as i tell liberal Jews, as a Conservative Christian (Catholic), i am the greatest ally Jews and Israel have!!!
