France will begin supplying Ukraine with ‘kamikaze’ drones in the next few weeks to use in its battle with Russia, the French defence minister announced Wednesday.
Sébastien Lecornu, the Minister of the Armed Forces for Emmanuel Macron’s government, said that the first round of French remotely-controlled attack drones will be sent to Kyiv in the “coming weeks”.
The French defence minister hailed the development for demonstrating that Paris has begun “regaining sovereignty over this key segment for our armies in less than two years” by producing the drones domestically.

They are running out of Ukrainians. Drones and other weapons won’t change the trajectory of the war. Escalation begets escalation.

In other words, the French arms industry needs to test a new piece of equipment.

I, too, am tired of using the word kamikaze. Kamikaze were terrible not because they exploded and sunk ships, but because a human was deliberately giving up his life to try and make it happen.
The wide use of small cheap drones by both sides has transformed the battlefield. I hope smart people in the military are taking note.

Matters little, the EU is fracturing. Their economies are crumbling,( Germany the worse), they are mired in debt and broke, incapable of raising an Army of any significance, taxed to death, just surviving.
This war is being won by Vlad on the economic front. A huge well known British company ( multi billions) I do contract work for has now announced their billion dollar “ product” is on the verge of shutting down operations due to the loss of
metals, and certain commodities they no longer can acquire from Russia….and I know for a fact Lockheed and Boeing Aerospace and Defense is equally suffering.
