On Tuesday’s broadcast of CBS’s “Late Show,” 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris responded to questions on why she hasn’t implemented the policy fixes she promises to during her tenure as Vice President by stating that as the VP, “there are a lot of responsibilities that you take on” but “I have pointed out, through my three and a half years of being Vice President, that it’s Vice President.”
Host Stephen Colbert asked, “Well, your opponent and his vice president, the other night in the debate, said, well, Kamala Harris has been Vice President for three and a half years, why hasn’t she fixed everything already? Can you describe to them what the job of vice president is like, and what have you told Gov. Tim Walz (D) about the job? Have you described to him the vast powers vested in the vice presidency?”
Harris answered, “I have pointed out, through my three and a half years of being Vice President, that it’s Vice President. And there are a lot of responsibilities that you take on. But, did you see that kid who was interviewed after their debate? And — oh, you have to see it, Stephen — and he gave just a total civics lesson about the role of vice president.”

She’s powerful when it’s convenient. She’s powerless when it’s convenient.
She’s told us that her “values won’t change,” so she will definitely continue to sow chaos and transform our country into a socialist hell-state if she reaches the Presidency.
Well, you can’t expect her to have a bill proposal typed up by underlings and then walk 10 feet to hand it to a Democratic senator to be dropped by the senator into a hopper, can you?
It would involve a modicum of thinking and effort.

US VP has 3 responsibilities:
1) Break Senate ties
2) Attend funerals
3) Check on the health of the President
Bull droppings. Biden said she’s involved in every decision he makes. That she’s the last person in the room.
There have been VP’s who have taken on larger roles. I suspect Trump will be asking Vance to take on larger roles as well.
but wait...she said she wouldn’t change anything - so she was on board w/open borders, Afghanistan debacle, inflationary fiscal policy etc etc etc - so which is it?
