U.S. President Joe Biden said Wednesday that Israel should not hit Iran’s nuclear program in responding to Tuesday’s ballistic missile attack by the Iranian regime.
On Tuesday, the U.S. and other allies assisted Israel in shooting down most of the 181 ballistic missiles fired by Iran, none of which caused injuries or deaths inside Israel.
However, the missile attack — the second in six months — sent the entire nation of Israel into bomb shelters.
Israel is determined to respond and says that it will do so in a place, time, and manner of its choosing. But the Biden administration, which told Israel to limit its response to the first attack in April, appears to want to restrain Israel again.

America's "proportional" response to 9-11 was two decades in Afghanistan and Iraq. Proportionally, Oct. 7 for Israel would have been like the US losing 40,000 people on 9-11. Iran was as a least as deeply involved in Oct. 7 as Afghanistan and Iraq were in 9-11. And Iran is still lobbing missiles at Israel today. A "proportional" response to the that past and present aggression is indescribable.

The “proportional” argument is immature, childish and nonsensical. War does not work that way. If “proportional” is valid for Israel, then why isn’t it valid for every other war on the planet. We aren’t telling Ukraine or Russia to be “proportional.” If we had applied the “proportional” theory in WW II, we’d still be fighting it today.

Being proportional, Israel should fire 181 cruise missles at Iran’s oil terminals, uranium facilities, power plants, port facilities, airports and military airfields.
“Proportionality” is for losers.
“Overwhelming Firepower on Strategic Targets” is for winners.
