Howdy, PRO.
Having a nice, relaxing week so far?
We’re battening down the hatches here ahead of Helene. Gonna be pretty windy here from what they say. That’s a big worry since the trees are so weak from drought.

Hiya radu, nothing much happening, had a dental appt today, grocery shopping in the AM, hope son is available to hang-out this weekend.
I hope you don't get any damage from Helene and the kittahs don't freak out. Keep the Canteen posted how it's going.
When might it hit your area?

Other than the dental appointment, sounds like a pretty good week so far ..... nothing much happening. I imagine everyone down here would love to be able to say the same. LOL But it is what it is.
They have us under a wind advisory from 7 p.m. tomorrow through 7 p.m. Friday so that’s when the brunt is expected. It’ll be breezy through the day tomorrow and we’ll get some rain. Just a little wind has knocked a lot of small branches out of the trees lately so it’s unnerving.
Just have to hope for the best.
I’m more concerned about friends farther south in Helene’s path. I talked to a couple of them today and they’re as ready as they can be, and not looking forward to what’s coming.

I was watching this and had the live cam at the big buoy at Key West up too. Some guys showed up and started dancing in the surf spray and they were in time with the music. LOL

What a sweet pic!
How are things down there?
It’s nice and cool here at last, though a little damp. The “fun” begins tomorrow afternoon.

Hey there, radu!
It’s still fairly cool here, especially after dark. 74 right now. It’s gradually heating up for the daytime, and I’m not so happy with that news.
I really hope things don’t get too awful there. I’m sure that you’re prepared, though.

Bummer that it’s heating up a little during the day but it SHOULDN’T slam you with 90s again. Though the way this summer has gone, who knows what to expect?
We never got out of the 70s today and that was really nice. We have a few more days of that ahead, then low 80s next week.
We need the rain but wind is a big concern, what with the trees all so weak from the drought this summer. I’ve done what I can to prepare, and now I’ll just sit it out and hope for the best.
