Ryan Routh planned to assassinate Donald Trump outside his Florida golf club — and thankfully, he failed.
Blaze News investigative journalist Steve Baker has done some digging on the would-be assassin, and he isn’t thrilled with what he’s found.
“What we’ve uncovered is more questions that are not being answered,” Baker tells Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson of “Blaze News Tonight.” “Was he there by luck of the draw from three different courses that President Trump could have played that morning?”
“They could answer all of these questions right now. They could also answer the question about whether that GoPro that was hanging on the fence, mounted on the fence, was set up to broadcast to someone’s cellular device or Wi-Fi device in proximity to where he was,” Baker explains.
However, the actual attempt on Trump’s life isn’t the only factor we should be concerned about.
“This guy has an extensive rap sheet, and there’s some curious aspects to this,” Peterson comments.
Baker notes that “the most curious aspect of them all” is that Routh has had over a hundred charges, including one where he supposedly was in possession of a weapon of mass destruction.
“He held off the Greensboro North Carolina police department and the Guilford County Sheriff Department for three hours with a machine gun, and then that was suddenly pled down to a concealed weapons charge,” Baker says.
“Most curious, with all of these charges, 74 arrests, how much time did he spend incarcerated? None. Zero,” he adds.
Law enforcement officers in this country have quickly made themselves defundable. They need to go back to doing the jobs they were hired to do.
Routh did not get off a shot. The SS fellow saw the gunbarrel poking through the fence and shot at him. He missed. that shows poor tradecraft on Routh’s part, putting the barrel through the fence.
“How about common sense incarceration for convicted violent offenders?”

They should come up with a new rule... After you’ve been arrested 10 times, or more... You should just be permanently incarcerated.

If so, there’s no wonder DeSantis’ Florida Dept of Law Enforcement gets no cooperation from the Feds.
Need any more proof that this was a FED-sponsored hit? He’s on the payroll, just like the other Blackrock asshat they claim took a shot at Trump.

Probably needed to hold them off until his handler could get there and make sure nothing bad happened to him. Local guys aren’t in the loop. This time, it appears that the Secret Service wasn’t, either. So FBI, CIA, or DHS are the most likely folks. Or it could just be he works directly for the Davos crowd, and they just get involved when needed.
He would have gotten away clean this time if it wasn’t for that civilian that got a picture of his license plate and got the locals involved. He’ll probably plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge in a few months.
I’ve wondered if the Ukrainian oligarchs were behind this attempt.
President Trump wants peace in that country, and peace would stop the cash flowing into the hands of these corrupt oligarchs.
One Ukrainian official once said, off the record, when asked about the U.S. taxpayers money following into his country, “They’re stealing it with both hands!”
Makes you wonder, if the deep state, had braindead lefties staked out at all of the courses and he was at the one Trump played at, that day. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

If you recall Routh wrote a book urging Iranian oligarchs to kill President Trump. So Ukraine or Iran could be behind this assassination attempt.
But my money is still on the FBI.

An ordinary person like you or I would be sent to a supermax for years by the time we racked up half that number of arrests-the more I hear the more this all stinks on ice...
