I think eventually, both will happen. If Kamala is installed as president, the draft, or some version of it will happen by 2027. If Trump becomes president, it will happen, but later, and incrementally. And, yes, women will be included, especially if it’s Kamala doing the deciding.
America has almost no other choice. Even if we push to make illegals a part of the armed forces, that will only equal a fraction of what’s needed.

My father was talking about when LBJ was running for president in 1964, he promised no war in Viet Nam. In March of ‘65, he sent the first troops in. This article is another to soften us up to get used to the idea of the draft and then war. If Harris is installed, she will send our military to Ukraine by next spring.

You see the fantasy being shopped around about winning WWIII with the Russians. Not a nuclear war but a kinder, gentler WWII meat grinder. That war goes nuclear before you could call up your first draftee.
I can see the idiots in DC continuing to overcommit American forces around the world and needing a draft to maintain them. We are at that point now.
Just imagine the MIC bonanza if, by a simple majority vote in that nest of warmongers, the Capitol, those warmongers had all the men they needed for all of their foreign misadventures. All of those guys would have to be anrmed and trained. MIC generational Cha-ching$$$$.
