Human CO2 Emissions Are Supercharging Corn Yields
California Globe ^ | September 18, 2024 | By Vijay Jayaraj

How can carbon dioxide, which has been portrayed as a dangerous pollutant threatening the very existence of humankind, be considered even remotely beneficial? Sadly, such a question can be expected from people – children and adults – who have been fed irrational fears in place of well-established science that shows CO2 to be an irreplaceable food for plants and necessary for all life.

In addition to CO2 I am producing vast quantities of methane!

Slowly they are changing the tune. CO2 is ok, methane is the culprit.

CO2 - It’s got what plants crave.

I produce a bit of that myself. Maybe we can go into business as party balloon inflators. :-)

Atmospheric CO2 is roughly. 04% right now, or 420 parts per million.

Corn would grow best with 800-110ppm, varying by time of day and parietal.

Arguably we have too little CO2.

1,100 ppm. Not 110 ppm.

We regret the error.

Gas emissions from humans. So Kamala will ban beans because it will cause humans to emit methane. As to carbon dioxide, quit breathing. That will help her goal of reducing population. Eugenics in action. Only the, “right people”, will be allowed to breathe...

The way climate kooks keep harping on that bad, bad Carbon, it’s like they want all forms of life to be silicon-based or something.

I’ve seen various reports that the world has MORE trees and green area than ever measured in the past, mostly due to increases in CO2 (as well as due to widely available fuels instead of wood, for the world’s poor to use)

Also, looking over the past several hundred thousand years/million years, the world is nearly at the low point of atmospheric CO2, where most plant life could not exist.

seems we WANT more CO2 in the atmosphere.

I seem to recall when they were piping nuclear plant cooling water through pipes under greenhouses. Plants loved it. And the warm effluvia of the Turkey Point NPP is a boon for manatee and crocodiles.

Somebody decided long-ago, to kill off the dinosaurs. The effect was fossil-fuels.

Somebody now decides to kill CO2 production, and all plants and animals (including humans) die off. Resulting in massively more fossil-fuels for whatever takes over.

Since democrats will die off too, whatever takes over for humans will be much better off than us today.

The Medieval Warm Period was a good thing. Not that the climate alarmists will ever admit it.
