There are four reasons why the coming year could be the year the Ukraine war ends—and plenty of reasons why it might continue for the foreseeable future. Principal among these is the huge gap between Putin and Zelensky on potential terms. The factors favoring an end to the war appear to be gaining. What are these factors?
First, there is Ukraine’s brilliant and bold military move into Russia in the Kursk region.

Hmmmmmm! Nov.6 should be an indicator.
President Trump has promised to end our involvement immediately. Unlike the pack of deep state war monger politicians, we currently have on both sides... TRUMP KEEPS HIS PROMISES! Since Zelensky is nothing more than a corrupt puppet, the “war” will end shortly afterwards.
Brilliant, bold move into Russia? Suicide…. And yes probably the “ End” of the Ukie military. If Nato gets really stupid, it would be the end of them to.
Will end it in 24 hrs after his inauguration
Supposedly it ends on October 1, 2024, although I can’t get the poster to name morning or afternoon.
Somewhat like Custer's brilliant and bold military move against the Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho villages on the Greasy Grass in late June 1876.
hardspunned.
I guess he is trying to one up Trump. ;)
It will end when Zelinskyy doesn’t have Crime Boss Joey to blackmail any more. Remember his right hand guy fired the man that was investigating Dollar Hunter so please don’t say this is wild speculation.
Trends in the United States and Europe do not favor an indefinite extension of the war. The U.S. role has been critical in supporting Ukraine’s heroic resistance, and the Europeans have been the second most important source of support.
However, in the aftermath of the US presidential elections, the USA is likely to reduce its support over time.
A President Trump will quickly push for a diplomatic settlement, but even a President Harris (if she cheats her way to a win ) too, will have a hard time sustaining current levels of support.
Hard to say, depends on the supply of weapons and bodies. Ukrainians will run out of bodies first, they started with 1/8th the theorectical supply that Russia has. NATO says it’s running out of weapons, that doesn’t bode well.
We should start a pool, I’ll take November 17, 2025 for the cease fire. Both sides lose in this one, like almost all modern wars.
Kamala will end it because it doesn't fit in with her communist agenda for the US.
The Ukraine War will end after Trump is elected. Possibly even before he takes the Oath of Office.
RE: Will end it in 24 hrs after his inauguration
Easier said than done.
* Putin has lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers. He’s not going to simply end the war without gaining any territory.
* Zelenskyy has lost a lot of soldiers too. He’s not going to simply end the war by giving up any territory.
* Ukraine is not going to cede anything without any security guarantees they can count on in case Russia attacks again in the future.
I don’t see how Trump is going to get this war to end without reconciling all of these demands. In the end, the USA will have to be involved one way or another ( especially when it comes to security guarantees for Ukraine).
” Remember his right hand guy fired the man that was investigating Dollar Hunter “
I think you might have your timeline off as Biden was still VP then and Z wasn’t the president yet.
When the money for the Ukraine War dries up Zelensky will be forced to either flee the Ukraine or die. Zelensky’s access to Western money is all that is buying him protection from his own people. Think of Romania’s Ceaușescu.
Yeah I know...
Trump needs to learn to under promise and over deliver.
Hitler tried this same move in Kursk in WW2. I hear that it ended badly for the German National Socialists.
Ukraine’s war ends when men, money and equipment runs out against Russia. That will be determined as a result of the American election. Russia wins either way. We don’t have to like it but that’s reality.
