SaxxonWoods -- "Putin... Muslim-infested Europe"

Percentage of muslims in France = 10%

Percentage of muslims in Germany = 5%

Percentage of muslims in the UK = 6%

Percentage of muslims in Russia = 18%

Russia has more citizens who are Muslims than every other country in Europe bar Albania, Kosovo, and Macedonia

We would have to be there before we can “walk away”, while we aren’t involved with Ukraine like Russia was against us in Vietnam, our involvement with Ukraine is similar to Russia and China in the Vietnam War.

That was a really ignorant comment. Did you happen to notice during Trump’s 4 years we weren’t at war with anyone?

Zeepers blame Putinistas. Putinistas blame Zeepers.

I blame American Democrats for being aggressive bullies promoting and provoking the next world war

Russia would not have invaded Ukraine had the US feral government not overthrown their democratically elected government in 2014.

Please explain how Trump inflames America.

*****************

He doesn’t, but many people are inflamed by Trump.

Those people should’ve been told to get their emotions under control and seek some help, but the media has done the opposite by continuing to give them their hate propaganda.

If you speak against the narrative of Marxism, globalism and the political left you are inflammatory.

The Bush’s, McCain, Romney, McCarthy, Ryan, Johnson, McConnell: were and are all well behaved Republicans who have Kick Me signs on their back, would get so hard in the arse it would lift them off the ground three feet by the Democrats and they would turn around and profusely thank the Democrat who just gave them a shoe leather enema. Trump hits back and that just isn’t done.

The democrats want the “kick me” Republicans back as candidates.

Either we blew up Nordstream or we aided the Ukrainians in blowing it up. The fact that Germany said nothing about this for months means that Germany is under our thumb. In fact, all of the NATO nations are to one extent or another under our thumb.

If Ukraine joined NATO or the EU or any other Western alliance, they would also be under our thumb.

Since a weak and indefensible nation like Ukraine is going to be under the thumb of some great power, why not Russia?

If America cared anything about the Monroe Doctrine, then Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, etc. would also be under our thumb. But we pretend to believe in democracy and self-determination when we should be sending benevolent dictators down there to remake those countries into livable places. At first they would revolt, but then they would thank us when we repaired the infrastructure, bolstered their economy, and got a handle on the crime and disease. They could establish legislatures that were at first merely advisory but over time had more and more real power as they showed they were capable of self-government. This is what should have happened in Iraq, but didn't.

The Neocons are the worst. If they had the courage of their convictions they would push to install benevolent dictators in problematic countries. Instead, they use the CIA to finance color revolutions like the ones in Ukraine, Georgia, Venezuela, and Bangladesh and hide behind front organizations populated by grifters no better than those who populate BLM. Does anyone remember Ahmed Chalabi? Juan Guaido? Will anyone remember Edmundo Gonzalez?

Let Russia send benevolent dictators to run Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, etc. They can play act at being democrats and hold pretend elections like we do in the US.

NATO was not even supposed to gobbke up Poland in 1991. They said as much.

Tell the total truth. Russia asked to be in NATO too. Maybe that provoked the deep state?

Your points are good, my FRiend.

Please also consider priorities, as many hereabouts consider our borders are a greater immediate concern, and unless and until they are secure, we have no biz worrying about Ukraine.

And, if it's worth it to help the Ukrainians, any effort to help should be a full-throttle effort, coordinated by the Europeans (this is a European war in Europe, it's mostly THEIR responsibility). We can chime in at some point, but if we are going to do that, none (meaning not any, at all) of the support should come from the U.S. Military budget or supplies, unless it's immediately replaced with the funding coming from foolish expenditures such as anything to do with climate change or money for illegal aliens or unearned college funding.

The Transdniester situation predates Putin—it goes back to the early 1990s right after the breakup of the USSR. The rest of Moldova was part of Romania until Stalin took it in 1940—perhaps they would have chosen to rejoin Romania after 1991 except for the Russian presence in the Transdniester region (but I don’t know if the Romanians would want them— their per capita GDP is less than half that of Romania).

After reviewing the list of what the US has sent…
This is what the rest of nato has sent to ‘protect themselves’

“To date, nearly 50 Allies and partner countries have provided security assistance to Ukraine. Among their many contributions to Ukraine, Allies and partners have delivered 10 long-range Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS), 178 long-range artillery systems, nearly 100,000 rounds of long-range artillery ammunition, nearly 250,000 anti-tank munitions, 359 tanks, 629 armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), 8,214 short-range air defense missiles, and 88 lethal UAVs.”

Do you care to dispute any of the statements I made in my post above?
The Ukrainians (and Georgians) were neutral until Putin started threatening them in the early 2000s.

You do realize that Ukraine and Georgia petitioned to join NATO in 2008 and it was rejected “for fear of provoking Putin” - exactly what you are saying today in 2024?

and what happened when Germany and France rejected Georgia and Ukraine’s requests to join NATO? did Putin say “Hey, that’s great, NATO is not going to take Georgia and Ukraine, no worries”?

No, he invaded Georgia 6 weeks later.

Sorry, but Putin has only wanted instability on his borders, which is why he created “frozen conflicts” all over - from Transdniester to the Donbas and Luhansk People’s republics to South Ossetia etc. etc.

Have you got ANYTHING to dispute those statements?

If not, then you must realize that Putin wants unstability on his borders and he has caused this crisis - right from the early 2000s
