Harris marks anniversary of Kabul airport attack, backs Biden decision

Vice President Harris, the Democrat nominee for president, marked the third anniversary of the suicide bombing at the Kabul airport, when 13 U.S. service members were killed.

“Today and everyday, I mourn and honor them. My prayers are with their families and loved ones. My heart breaks for their pain and their loss. These 13 devoted patriots represent the best of America, putting our beloved nation and their fellow Americans above themselves and deploying into danger to keep their fellow citizens safe,” she said in a statement.

She named the 13 service members and said she is also thinking about the service members who died in Afghanistan over the duration of the war.

Harris also backed President Biden’s decision to withdrawal from Afghanistan, calling it the right decision.

Erik Prince, on his podcast “Off Leash,” had an excellent episode of this anniversary

He’s identified 17 different officers who were responsible for US affairs in Afghanistan during that period.

Not one has been fired, demoted or reprimanded.

Biden/Harris are responsible for losing IS credibility. This is our Suez Canal moment.
For example, after Joes NATO merry, Germany agreed to increase Ukraine funding. They released their military budget and they have decreased all spending across the board. When caught they cited the Nordstream pipeline incident as reason to cut off Zelenskyy.

I don’t think anyone is claiming that leaving Afghanistan was the wrong decision. Trump had plans to leave before Biden took office.

It is how the decision to leave was executed that anyone with half a brain has a problem with. Abandoning Baghran and billions of dollars worth of military equipment behind just to meet an arbitrary date in Biden’s addled brain as well as the needless deaths of American service men is what people should remember. And Harris claims she was the last one in the room when the decision was made.

So leaving Afghanistan, good idea. Leaving Afghanistan the way Biden-Harris did, really stupid.
