During an interview with CBS News on Monday, Rep. Jennifer McClellan (D-VA) responded to criticisms of 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’ “price gouging” proposal by stating that when Democrats are in the White House, “costs go down.”
Host Lindsey Reiser asked, “Harris is receiving some criticism for her economic proposals unveiled Friday, particularly when it comes to the proposed federal price gouging ban. The Washington Post editorial board published an op-ed saying, ‘The times demand serious economic ideas. Harris supplies gimmicks.’ Economist Jason Furman, who was in the Obama administration, told [The New York Times], ‘I think the biggest hope is that it [ends up being] a lot of rhetoric and no reality.’ He worries about how it would affect supply and demand. What are your thoughts on her proposals, and do you share any of those concerns?”

The “middle out” is the pertinent wording here. The middle class out, rather. Out of luck, out of money, and eventually, out of hope. This typical Democrat (liar) is attempting to rewrite history away from the facts of how things always fall apart and get unaffordable whenever Democrats are in control.
From the horrendous economy under the peanut farmer, Carter, (gas lines, inflation, joblessness, etc.) to the deliberate melt-down of the mortgage loan industry by Democrats in 2008 just to get Obama elected by blaming Bush... to the eight long years of stagflation and unaffordable everything, including ‘unaffordable health care’ under Obama... to the last four years of sky-rocketing energy costs and inflation along with the open border invasion, increasing crime which raises cost of living (insurance, especially) on everyone... not to mention putting the strain on the nation’s Emergency Rooms and welfare system (intentionally being done by the Cloward-Piven deep state Marxists).
The ONLY reason why the economy didn’t tank under Clinton is because the purse strings were controlled by Republicans in Congress who enacted “Contract With America”. If that had not occurred, Clinton would have had a very similar sucky economy due to his equally sucky economic policies.
At this point, anyone that votes for a Democrat would have to be a complete and utter moron at retardation level... or... an avowed Communist/Marxist that’s fully on-board with the Communist agenda to destroy America from within or from without, whichever comes first.
Rep. McClellan? Never heard of her.
