Nearly six in ten Americans (58 percent) are opposed to sex-change drugs and surgeries for minors, a Rasmussen Reports survey found.
Out of the 58 percent who oppose sex changes for minors, 47 percent say they are strongly opposed to such measures. Thirty percent of Americans support such sex-mutilating drugs and surgeries for minors, while 12 percent are unsure, the survey found.
By political affiliation, Democrats are more likely (47 percent) than Republicans (13 percent) and unaffiliated voters (27 percent) to support sex-mutilating — and often irreversible — drugs and surgeries for confused youth.
Nearly half of Americans (47 percent) oppose schools and teachers counseling students of “their sexual and gender identities” without parental knowledge or consent, the survey additionally found. Twenty-three percent believes schools and teachers should be able to go behind parents’ backs to counsel them on transgenderism and sexuality, while 30 percent are not sure.
Americans across the political spectrum are uneasy with schools usurping the role of parents in directing the upbringing of their children. Fifty-nine percent of GOP voters, 40 percent of Democrats, and 42 percent of unaffiliated voters do not think schools should counsel students on sex or gender identities without parental knowledge or consent, the survey found...

Since we seem incapable (more like unwilling) to stop this nonsense, I keep praying for God to step in and reboot the planet. The sooner the better. I've made my peace. This death by a thousand liberal cuts is living Hell on Earth.
I have a hard time believing any of the stats in this piece... I know no one who thinks that supporting such an insane idea as trying to pretend to have changed to the ‘other sex’ is a reasonable thing to do.
So 30% of Americans are insane, and 12% are just hopelessly stupid.

Pretty pathetic numbers. It’s a sad statement on where we are as a nation.
Minors cannot consent to having sex but they can be sexually mutilated?
When you’ve sunk so low that you actually believe a man can become a woman (or vice versa), and especially when you set out to mutilate children in pursuit of that delusion, you’ve lost touch with objective reality, which is the real definition of insanity (not the one that always gets quoted about doing the same thing over and over). We have got to wrap our minds around the fact that a huge portion of the American populace is literally insane. Not just a figure of speech; textbook insane. They’re incapable of comprehending the real world, and instead live in a psychotic delusion. That makes them incredibly dangerous, and any notion on our part that if we just reason with them they’ll turn around and we can all live happily ever after is pure fantasy.
For the millionth time, we CANNOT coexist with these lunatics. The sooner we internalize that and get serious about difficult decisions, the better. We need at least several key states to put on their big boy pants and start thinking about how to preserve what remains of the actual United States and defend it against the tyrannical federal government and the blue states that are nothing but insane asylums.
.....if 42% of “Americans” support sex change drugs and surgeries for kids, which I pray is not true and probably isn’t, then we know 42% of American’s will support any and all marxist/socialist/communist legislation no matter how bad it is because nothing is worse than mutilating a kid “legally”.
If America is going to survive, we must defeat the LEFT where it counts and that is in the classrooms of k thru 12 and in our so called “Universities”. !
Over the next 50 years, Public Education must be fixed with HARD legislation to aggrssively enforce curriculums with Civics, History and basic morality.
One more thing, Soros and people like him, must be stopped by whatever means necessary.

Twenty years ago, a majority of Americans opposed gay marriage. Now, a majority support it.
Just to be specific, Money coined the term “gender roles”. And funny enough, transgenders apparently regard him negatively because he was opposed to encouraging masculine-like women to “transition” as it were, and he once described “trans women” as: “devious, demanding and manipulative in their relationships with people on whom they are also dependent […] possibly also incapable of love”.
Money’s also guilty of coining the terms “sexual orientation” and “lovemap” (the latter not commonly heard these days) and popularized using the word “paraphilia” in place of “perversion”.

The rationale, according to the trans lobby, is that transitioning is easiest before puberty. Before hormones reinforce one's biological sexual characteristics.
Thus, trans people should have a "right" to transition before puberty, so as to receive the full benefits of the transition. (Although they don't call it transitioning, they call it gender affirmation.)
Correct - that’s how they essentially eliminated the meaning and purpose of marriage to be “accepted” - wearing people down.
And his last name is very telling.
Even more recent than that - in 2008, even in a far left state like California, a majority opposed it at the ballot box even with Obama winning the state in a landslide.

Just think- it’s MINORS. And they felt they had to take a poll on this.
