Further humiliation for Putin as footage shows Ukrainian military convoy of tanks and soldiers pouring into Russia - a day after his stony-faced reaction to news of invasion was revealed

A convoy of Ukrainian armoured vehicles carrying jubilant troops was captured trundling through Russia's Kursk region in a fresh humiliation for Vladimir Putin after Volodymyr Zelensky's forces launched a surprise assault earlier this week.
Tanks, armoured personnel carriers, a UR-77 mine-clearing vehicle and other army equipment were seen surging through a rural area in footage taken by a Ukrainian mortar position and shared to Telegram this morning.
Kyiv's forces stormed across the border on Tuesday morning, deploying around 1,000 troops and more than two dozen armoured vehicles and tanks in an unexpected assault on Russian soil, according to the Russian army.
The key gas transit town of Sudzha is under partial Ukrainian control and almost ringed by its forces as Kyiv's troops advanced up to six miles into Russian territory - the most serious border incursion of the conflict so far, the Institute for the Study of War said today.

Bialorus was already a combatant right from Feb 2022 — remember that the initial “head thrust” to Kyiv was launched from Bialoruski territory.
As to the Bialoruszyni themselves fighting - that is not going to happen. The simple reasons why this is NOT going to happen are:
1. The Bialoruski military is a joke, they are kept weak so they can’t overthrow Lukashenko.
2. The Bialoruski people do not want anything to do with this war - they don’t want to die for either side

The only reason Ukraine is such disaster because Zelensky was pushing for NATO membership. bobby, do read historical facts for the past 16 years:
- Putin in the early 2000s was making noises that he wanted the USSR back together, that he didn't consider Ukraine a "legitimate country" etc. etc.
- Ukraine applied to join NATO in 2008 alongside Georgia
- France and Germany rejected this request "for fear of provoking Putin"
- six weeks after the rejection by NATO, Putin invaded Georgia -- arguably he would NOT have invaded Georgia if Georgia's request to join NATO had been accepted by France and Germany
- fast forward to 2014 - Ukraine has not re-applied to join NATO, but Putin sends in his troops and grabs Crimea AND the Donetsk and Luhansk peoples' republics
- Ukraine now clearly see's that it can only survive if it is in a defensive alliance - just as Estonia, Latvia etc. did in 2004 and Finland saw in 2023
Putin's threats are what has pushed his neighbors to join NATO.

for pushing NATO membership on Russia’s border. Bobby, Russia has bordered NATO since 1999 when Poland joined NATO.

Mexico is smarter.. Bobby, the USA is not:
- saying that Mexico is not a "legitimate country'
- saying that Mexicans are really Americans and should be assimilated
- threatening to invade and grab territory from Mexico
there is no comparison

I have no love for Russia, China, Ukraine, Iran, N. Korea etc.
Only thing I am against is spending money we do not have to protect borders of faraway countries, while our own border is totally porous. $35,000,000,000,000 national debt and climbing fast with chronic Trillion-dollar deficits every year. Interest on debt is the largest item in federal spending. So stupid!

There are many countries quite powerful AND less national debt than ours based on GDPActually, there aren't. There are some countries that are more powerful economically on a per capita (Luxembourg) or overall GDP (China), but aren't at the same level as the USA militarily.
China has surrounded itself with self-made enemies and doesn't have a list of allies, unlike the USA. Neither does Russia
We gave 70 billion to Ukraine over 2 years? How much was wasted on O-care?

China has bigger GDP than USA based on PP index. Many items cost 1/4 in China compared to USA. China was dirt poor just 50 years ago. Now it it has the biggest PPI economy in the world. Why? How much money China spent fighting foreign wars in 50 years compared to United States?
Anyway, we just added $70 Billion to national debt from war in Ukraine based on your numbers. Actual numbers could be higher.
Ocare is a side issue. Just because money is wasted on Ocare does not mean we should waste more money on UNNECESSARY foreign wars.

The EU should be taking care of the reconstruction
But note that the true amount the USA spends is hardly a pinprick compared to the other wasteful places INTERNALLY spent

It was funny how when the amount of $ aid being handed to Zelensky was questioned, all of a sudden it became "older equipment which we were going to junk anyway"

Careful now. You're going to be branded a neocon and a Zeeper.
But, I'm pretty sure that the anti-Ukraine/anti-NATO posters already know what Putin's goals are, but their hate is more about how the former and current leaders in Ukraine were/are corrupt and how they aided Biden and others to get millions from shady deals, and it's also about how some in Ukraine and democrats in the U.S. colluded to accuse Trump of crimes (like that famous phone call).
Regardless, Putin is the criminal and the aggressor and the invader, and he should be the one being condemned.

Yep, it's best to ignore that looney nut. He has the delusion that he's superior to anyone on God's green earth. And don't you dare disagree. 🤣🤣 Oh, he's also a admitted liar. All in all, a typical zeeper!

China may have a bigger GDP on a PPP basis, but that hasn’t translated into real power - especially considering the failure of the belt and road initiative.
Militarily they are also a no-show — they could catch up, but they are still a no show
and they do not have allies beside Russia, who is also their rival
