Biden-Harris Economic Aide Leaves for Campaign as Stocks Plunge, Recession Fear Takes Hold

Biden-Harris senior economic adviser Gene Sperling on Monday left the White House for the presidential campaign trail on the same day American stocks plunged and fears of a recession became readily apparent.

Sperling is leaving to become a senior economic adviser to Harris’s policy team on her presidential campaign. He served Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, and President Joe Biden tasked Sperling with administering the $1.9 trillion coronavirus pandemic passed in the early days of his presidency.

However, the senior economic adviser for Biden and Harris is leaving the White House at a time that major stock indexes fell sharply on Monday morning, and many have become worried that the economy is headed for a major downturn.

This USA of ours has been spending and spending. Billions of
dollars in cash to Ukraine plus billions in military equipment. Also, billions to Palestine and Israel. How much are we giving to NATO? How about the UN? Who does not get money from us except maybe Russia and North Korea. The millions of illegals here are living in free Apt’s, get free healthcare, add about $800 in free food, etc.

When many here grew up we would knock on our neighbors door and ask if we could mow lawns, or do anything. I used to get $2 to mow lawns with a push mower. I got $2-3 to shovel 3-4 feet of snow out of driveways. When has any kid asked you for work? I was 9-10 years old when I shoveled snow.
