A report has found that the United States military is “not prepared” to fight in a major war, as “major powers” — such as Russia and China — have become “top threats” to the U.S., with China “outpacing” the U.S.
The report, which the Commission on the National Defense Strategy released in July, reveals that while the U.S. is currently facing some of “the most serious and most challenging” threats since 1945, several problems are preventing the U.S. military from being able to address threats from China or Russia.

Of any of the elite military units function like the supposedly elite crack team of the secret service. We’re so screwed
This country is not equipped to produce the necessary military machinery needed to wage a protracted war on other shores. We will never see the likes of the production that occurred during WWII. It took at least two years for U.S. factories to retool all their factory lines in order to be able to start producing planes, tanks, artillery pieces, etc. After a total of 4 years, we were out-producing all other countries. There is no guarantee that factory owners would even come on board as they did after FDR created the War Production Board. Nor would we have the military manpower that we had in WWII.
I’m pretty sure the Russians and Chinese don’t practice DEI. The other thing is that the Ukraine war was an excellent testbed for Russia to learn how to counter US weapons.
Fat men, fat single women with kids, DEI and LGBT+ making up today’s military personnel are no secrets. It’s probably going to take an existential war to change things, particularly if Trump doesn’t win. We’ve probably already lost the next existential war if Trump and Vance don’t win.
My father was an Air Commando in Viet Nam. Stories of his training amaze me to this day.

To be honest with you, we should downsize our military. Army and Marines should be mostly reserves now.
Our focus should be the Navy and the Air Force.

Or the manufacturing expertise. Making widgets can be more art than science at times. Having ppl who know the art of it isn’t common anymore.
Stateside training was not enough for a lot of units and the men assigned to those units could be sent to Long Binh/Bien Hoa Camp Frenzel Jones area for in country advanced training by the 199th combat instructors who all had served in combat, dealing specifically with jungle and village exposure.
But they can name all 57 genders!
I have said this ever since they let pretty girls and homos in the service.

It's Congress's constitutional duty to make sure that the armed forces are ready for war.
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 16: To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;"
The remedy for U.S. Military not being prepared for war is for Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to support hopeful Trump 47 with a new, Constitution-respecting Congress in November, not only so that he won't be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, the new Congress also doing its duty to guarantee military readiness.
Also, let's not allow the anti-Trump media try to fade our memories of what we witnessed on July 13.
